[Prologue] This study aims to: (1) find out how much learning motivation affects student achievement in
K3 training courses; (2) how much interest in learning affects student achievement in K3 training
courses; (3) how much motivation and interest in learning together affect student achievement in K3
training and education.

[Method] This research is an Ex Post Facto study and was conducted at SMK NI Sedayu in class X of the
Mechanical Engineering Department with a population of 32 students. The data in this study were taken
using questionnaires and tests. The questionnaire was divided into 2 groups, namely groups to reveal
data on learning motivation and interest in learning. Test scores are used to reveal their achievements.
The analytical technique used in testing the hypothesis is a simple linear regression analysis technique
and multiple linear regression analysis techniques.

[Result] [Conclution] The results showed that: (1) learning motivation had an effect on student
achievement in occupational safety and health training, with a contribution of 12.5%, (2) interest in
learning had no effect on student achievement in occupational safety and health training, (3) Interest in
learning has no effect on learning achievement so it cannot be done

ABSTRAK

PENGARUH MOTIVASI DAN MINAT TERHADAP PRESTASI SISWA PADA MATA DIKLAT KESELAMATAN DAN
KESEHATAN KERJA DI SMK NEGERI 1 SEDAYU

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui seberapa besar motivasi belajar berpengaruh terhadap
prestasi siswa pada mata diklat K3; (2) seberapa besar minat belajar berpengaruh terhadap prestasi
siswa pada mata diklat K3; (3) seberapa besar motivasi dan minat belajar secara bersama-sama
berpengaruh terhadap prestasi siswa pada mata diklat K3.

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Ex Post Facto dan dilakukan di SMK NI Sedayu pada kelas X Jurusan
Teknik Pemesinan dengan jumlah Populasi sebanyak 32 Siswa. Data pada penelitian ini diambil dengan
menggunakan angket dan tes. Angket dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok yaitu kelompok untuk mengungkap
data motivasi belajar dan minat belajar. Nilai tes digunakan untuk mengungkap prestasinya. Teknik
analisis yang digunakan dalam menguji hipotesis adalah teknik analisis regresi linear sederhana dan
teknik analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) motivasi belajar
berpengaruh terhadap prestasi siswa pada mata diklat keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja, dengan
sumbangan sebesar sebesar 12.5 %, (2) minat belajar tidak berpengaruh terhadap prestasi siswa pada
mata diklat keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja, (3) Minat belajar tidak berpengaruh terhadap prestasi
belajar sehingga tidak dapat dilakukan

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengetahui Pengaruh Metode Mengajar Guru terhadap Motivasi
Belajar Akuntansi siswa kelas XI Akuntansi SMK Negeri 1 Tempel Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013, 2) Pengaruh
Penggunaan Media Pembelajaran terhadap Motivasi Belajar Akuntansi siswa kelas XI Akuntansi SMK
Negeri 1 Tempel Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013, 3) Pengaruh Metode Mengajar Guru dan Penggunaan Media
Pembelajaran terhadap Motivasi Belajar Akuntansi

siswa kelas XI Akuntansi SMK Negeri 1 Tempel Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 79
siswa kelas XI Akuntansi SMK Negeri 1 Tempel. Uji coba instrumen penelitian dilakukan terhadap 26
siswa kelas XI Akuntansi SMK Negeri 1 Tempel yang tidak menjadi bagian dari sampel. Pengumpulan
data menggunakan metode kuesioner atau angket. Pengujian prasyarat analisis meliputi uji normalitas,
uji linearitas, uji multikolinearitas dan uji heterokedastisitas. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah
teknik analisis regresi sederhana untuk hipotesis pertama dan kedua serta analisis regresi ganda untuk
hipotesis ketiga.

Hasil penelitian ini adalah 1) Metode Mengajar Guru berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap
Motivasi Belajar Akuntansi siswa kelas XI Akuntansi SMK N 1 Tempel tahun ajaran 2012/2013 yang
ditunjukkan dengan nilai fly sebesar 0,531, rly sebesar 0,282 dan nilai tang lebih besar dari tabel sebesar
5,493 1,664, 2) Penggunaan Media Pembelajaran berpengaruh positif dan sigifikan terhadap Motivasi
Belajar Akuntansi siswa kelas XI Akuntansi SMK N 1 Tempel tahun ajaran 2012/2013 yang ditunjukkan
dengan nilai ry sebesar 0,515 y sebesar 0.265 dan nilai taitung lebih besar dari tube sebesar 5.270 >
1,664, 3) Metode Mengajar Guru dan Penggunaan Media Pembelajaran secara bersama-sama
berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Motivasi Belajar Akuntansi siswa kelas XI Akuntansi SMK N 1
Tempel tahun ajaran 2012/2013 yang ditunjukkan dengan nilainilai Ry(1.2) sebesar 0,601, R (12) sebesar
0,362 dan nilai Fang lebih besar dari Fab sebesar 21,527 >3.12.

ABSTRACT

[Prologue] This study aims to: 1) determine the effect of the teacher's teaching method on the
motivation to learn accounting for students in class XI Accounting at SMK Negeri 1 Tempel in the
2012/2013 academic year, 2) The effect of using learning media on motivation to learn accounting for
students in class XI Accounting at SMK Negeri 1 Tempel in the academic year. 2012/2013, 3) The
Influence of Teachers' Teaching Methods and the Use of Learning Media on Accounting Learning
Motivation

[Methode] students of class XI Accounting at SMK Negeri 1 Paste for the 2012/2013 academic year. The
sample of this study was 79 students of class XI Accounting at SMK Negeri 1 Tempel. The research
instrument trial was conducted on 26 students of class XI Accounting at SMK Negeri 1 Tempel who were
not part of the sample. Collecting data using a questionnaire or questionnaire method. The analysis
prerequisite test includes normality test, linearity test, multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test.
The data analysis technique used is a simple regression analysis technique for the first and second
hypotheses and multiple regression analysis for the third hypothesis.

[Result] [Conclution] The results of this study are 1) Teacher's Teaching Method has a positive and
significant effect on Accounting Learning Motivation of students in class XI Accounting at SMK N 1
Tempel for the academic year 2012/2013 which is indicated by the fly value of 0.531, rly of 0.282 and
the tang value greater than the table of 5.493 1.664, 2) The use of learning media has a positive and
significant effect on learning motivation for accounting students in class XI Accounting at SMK N 1 Paste
for the academic year 2012/2013 which is indicated by the ry value of 0.515 y of 0.265 and the taitung
value greater than the tube of 5.270 > 1.664, 3) Teachers' Teaching Methods and the Use of Learning
Media together have a positive and significant effect on Accounting Learning Motivation of students in
class XI Accounting at SMK N 1 Paste for the 2012/2013 academic year as indicated by Ry(1.2) values of
0.601, R(12) of 0.362 and Fang's value is greater than Fab of 21.527 > 3.12.

[Prologue]This study aimed at finding out the factors affecting undergraduate


students’ difficulties in writing thesis. This study followed the descriptive survey research proposed by
Sapsford (in Cohen, Manion and Morrison, 2007: 209) which involves problem definition, sample
selection, design measurement, and concern for participants.The subjects of the study were the
undergraduate students in the English Department of Mahasaraswati University.

[Method] The data were collected through expert judgment sheet, questionnaire, and interview. The
findings of the study identified three major factors that affected undergraduate students’ thesis writing.

[Result,Conclusion]First, psychological factors that comprised lack of confidence in deciding thesis title,
having prior knowledge due to thesis topic, and writing a good thesis. Second, sociocultural factors that
covered ability to connect and form each sentence into meaningful thesis writing, to have knowledge of
proper lexical items and linguistic units, and to have an understanding about the culture department of
the university regarding the format of the thesis writing. Finally, the third factor is the linguistic factors
that consisted of difficulties in minimalizing grammar error, and in knowing and/or deciding the
grammatical items which should be deleted, replaced, supplied and reordered. This study has an
implication to academic writing pedagogy, especially in thesis writing.
