NOTICE INVITING TENDER

Request for proposal for furnishing rates for supply of Aluminum Doors (with
ACP Panels)/ Aluminum Doorframes/ Sliding Windows etc as per specifications
mentioned in BoQ from the dealers/suppliers/manufactures and also for rates
discovery for future supply.
1. Name of work: Supply of Aluminum Doors (with ACP Panels)/ Aluminum
Doorframes/ Sliding Windows etc as per specifications mentioned in BoQ. Details

2. Quoting of Rates: The rates quoted should be exclusive of GST but

inclusive of other taxes/cess/octroi, transportation charges, etc. Tax component
should be mentioned separately, as per format of price bid.
3. Purchase period and quantity: Above purchase is initial and indicative
only and quantity may vary. Rates quoted should be valid for further supply for
specific period, say 1 year or more. However, rates will be adjusted to the cost
of Aluminium of Jindal make, in case of changes in the same, subject to
minimum 5% variation, from the existing dealer/retail price. Further, bank will
have the option to purchase all the items or any particular item/s. On the basis of
rates quoted for any particular item, other similar types of items may be
purchased on the rates on proportionate basis, where rate have not been sought
in this document.
4. Completion Time: 15 days from the date of issue of work order (on first
work order and 7 days for subsequent work orders).
5. Eligibility of bidders: All dealers/ suppliers, engage in this business,
having GST number and having office/shop/manufacturing facility with Navi
Mumbai.
6. Tender document downloadable from our website: 13/12/2017 to
21/12/2017.
7. Date of submission of offer/ bid: 21.12.2017 by 4.00 pm
8. Date & time of opening of tender: 21.12.2017 at 4.30 pm

10. Rates quoted may be valid upto 31.03.2019 or such date mentioned by the
bidder in Price bid (in case of change in price list/ dealer list of Jindal
Aluminium (material required for works), price will be adjusted, subject to
minimum 5% changes): On the basis of rates discovered in this tender process,
further purchases will be done, subject to maximum value of this tender, on
each instance, as per requirement and discretion of the Bank.

14. This is just a request for rates and may not be construed any commitment
or compulsion for purchase.
15. Quotations/ bid/ offers should only be submitted in closed envelops,
mention subject/name of the purchase, on the envelop.
16. Product offered should be made as per specifications mentioned in BoQ.
Bid/ offers with rates of partial items will not be considered. However, at the
option of the Bank, rates of all or any particular item may be accepted and work
order may be issued accordingly.
17. In case of tender opening date falls on holiday, tender will be opened on
next working day.
18. Bidder must be having valid GST number.
19. The price bid must be filled in English and all entries must be made by
hand and written in legible ink or typed.
20. The quantities indicated are only probable quantities and are for rate
discovery. These are liable to alteration by omission, reduction or addition.
Payment shall be made on the basis of actual quantities of supply at the
accepted rates.
21. The tenderer shall also bear all expenses in connection with the
preparation and submission of this tender.
22. On all the products, warrantee shall be applicable at per terms &
conditions of manufacturing company.
23. The Bank does not bind itself to accept the lowest tender and reserves the
right to reject any or all the tenders received without assigning any reasons
thereof. Further, the bank reserves the right to award any portion of the work to
different tenderers or to award the entire work to one tenderer.
24. Price bid must be signed by an authorized person.
25. The bidder must quote the rates and amount in the Bill of Quantities
26. However, if errors are made, the wrong figures or words must be neatly
scored out under full signature of the tenderer and the correct figures and neatly
rewritten. Over writing is not permitted.
27. Errors in the Bill of Quantities (BOQ), rates and amount shall be dealt
with in the following manner:
-In the event of a discrepancy between the rates quoted in words and the rates
in figures, the amount mentioned in words shall prevail.
-In the event of an error occurring in the amount columns as a result of
wrong multiplication and extension of unit rate and quantities, the unit shall be
regarded as firm and the amount shall be amended accordingly.
