Introduce
The purpose of this paper is to examine the potential advantages and disadvantages of
eliminating university exams in preparation for the writing of this report. I researched the topic
and talked to faculty, students, and employers.
Background
Recent research indicates that college students are suffering from increasing levels of stress
related to exam pressure and the results are negative.
Potential benefits for students
Students will not have to endure increasing levels of stress related to exam pressure
Potential problems
Instructors won't let students take the test and won't know if they understand what the instructor
is teaching
Some opinions of lecturers, students and employees
Many students support the elimination of university exams. Due to stress due to exam pressure,
however, for teachers, eliminating exams will not know whether students understand what the
teacher teaches or not. Employees claim that they don't care what students get in school
Conclusion and recommendations
Taking everything into account, I don't think university exams should be ruled out. However we
can test it to see if it's any good and from there we can judge and should do this experiment
