2 Keyboard and mouse

2.1 Function keys

 F1 to open the Help.

 F2 to apply a zoom to show the whole model (see Window > Activate
command) .
 F3 to modify the Graphic area, running the Windows > Arrangement command.
 F4 to open a new window, running the Window > New > Perspective
command.

2.2 Combined keys

2.2.1 Ctrl + key

Many commercial applications use the same key combination shortcuts to execute
common commands and FORAN is similar in this regard:

 Ctrl + R to repeat the last executed command

 Ctrl + Z to undo the last executed command
 Ctrl + Y to re-apply the last command that has just been undone
2.2.2 Shift + key

These key combinations execute common commands for all the System but are unique
to the FORAN working environment and are not present in other commercial
applications:

 Shift + Q to close the graphic area where the cursor is

 Shift + W to visualize in Wireframe method
 Shift + E to visualize with Hidden lines removal
 Shift + S to visualize applying the Shading
 Shift + D to visualize with Hidden lines dotted
 Shift + H to change to the other halfspace when the Section command is
running
 Shift + F to set the cursor to select anything in the Production subsystem, and
faces in Outfitting
 Shift + G to set the cursor to select edges
 Shift + X to set the cursor to select auxiliary points
 Shift + C to set the cursor to select connection points
 Shift + V to set the cursor to select vertices
 Shift + B to set the cursor to select cursor points in 2D views
