UNIT DESCRIPTION

REGIONAL MOBILE FORCE BATTALION 13

Regional Mobile Force Battalion


13 (RMFB13) is a battalion-sized mobile
reaction unit of the Police Regional Office
13 (PRO13) mandated to conduct
internal security operations, reinforce and
support the provincial, city and municipal
police units for public safety operations,
law enforcement and special police
operations.

It is believed that the police and


the people are inseparable. They need to
have connections to fulfill and realized the goals and objectives pertaining to peace
and order and public safety. Consequently, the RMFB13 Police Community Affairs
and Development activities embodied this principle and have showed their biggest
revelations in terms of the quality of service the people expected them to perform.

Significant Impact Project Initiated for the community

1. Kabataan Kontra Droga At Terrorismo initiated activities

a. 3- Day KKDAT Skills Enhancement Seminar/ Workshop

RMFB13 initiated 6 consecutive batches of 3-Day Skills Development


workshop and Seminar in partnership with Province of Agusan del Norte. It aimed at
exploring massive orientation network and strengthening the awareness on the evil
effects of illegal drugs. This seminar also provides the opportunity and knowledge for
every participant to develop and strengthen the necessary skills to gain, maintain,
and advance in a chosen area.

drugs, Public Speaking, Financial Literacy,
FJGAD, Project Vibes, Survival Skills,
Corona-virus Awareness Response
Empowerment,. Lecture on CPP NPA

Pandemic and Bomb Awareness lecture.
Activity held on August 20-22, 2021 at
Bolihon Beach Resort, Tagcatong,
Carmen, Agusan del Norte.

3rd Batch of KKDAT Skills Enhancement Seminar/ Workshop. September 30- October
2, 2021 at Kimberrey Beach Resort, Tagcatong, Carmen, Agusan del Norte.

4th Batch of KKDAT Skills Enhancement Seminar/ Workshop. October 20 to 22, 2021 at
Kimberrey Beach Resort, Tagcatong, Carmen, Agusan del Norte.

5th Batch of KKDAT Skills Enhancement Seminar/ Workshop. October 20 to 22, 2021 at
Kimberrey Beach Resort, Tagcatong, Carmen, Agusan del Norte.

6th Batch of KKDAT Skills Enhancement Seminar/ Workshop. March 29-31, 2022 at
Kimberrey Beach Resort, Tagcatong, Carmen, Agusan del Norte.
b. KKDAT 5-Day Disaster Preparedness Training
KKDAT 5- Day Disaster Preparedness Training.
KKDAT Emergency Response Team was organized
to serves as volunteers. This training aims to train
the participants in dealing disaster and emergency
response in times of calamities. The training was
held on November 15-19, 2021 at LGC Beach,
Manapa, Buenavista, Agusan del Norte.

c. KKDAT Bike for a Cause 2021


KKDAT Bike for a Cause. RMFB13's KKDAT initiates Bike for a Cause with a theme “ Ride for
Peace and Unity” ; 200 bike enthusiasts partake in partnership with the Sangguniang Kabataan
Federation of the Province of Agusan del Norte on December 4, 2021.

2. RMFB13 Patubig Program. RMFB13 in partnership with Travellers Insurance


Surety Corporation turned over Free
Potable Water Source to the
community of District 1, Brgy. Santa
Ana, Nasipit, Agusan del Norte on
September 14, 2021. The
beneficiaries were the Higaonon Tribe
led by Datu mahinapao Anghelito
Mosqueda, Tribal Leader.

3. "Gulong ng Suerte" program. RMFB13 distributes wheelchairs to 9 deserving


beneficiaries in partnership
with "Gulong ng Suerte"
program. Beneficiaries were
distributed by Butuan City
Police Office in respective
AOR on December 13-14,
2021. Heartfelt gratitude was
uttered by the recipients upon
receiving the early Christmas gift.

4. RMFB13 initiated Programs for Former Rebels


Six (6) pairs, who surrendered to RMFB 13,
successfully tied the knots at the Our Lady of
Sacred Heart Chapel of Luz Village in Barangay
Bayanihan, Butuan City on February 14, 2022.
The event aims to uphold the tradition of love,
inspiring unity, and to help the FRs reintegrate to the mainstream society, by supporting
them to achieve their lifelong dream- to be married.

RMFB13 initiated Livelihood Program


(Bangus Deboning Training) for Wives of
Former Rebels in partnership with TESDA
Agusan del Norte led by Ms. Dina B. Sipi,
trainer. The participants were very thankful
for the rare opportunity to them as they use
this knowledge to start a business on their
own and could generate an income that
would sustain their daily necessities. Activity
held at RMFB13 Multi-Purpose Hall, Camp
Col Rafael C Rodriguez, Butuan City on
March 10, 2022 .

On May 4-5, 2022 at about


10:00AM, the personnel of Battalion
Community Affairs Section, led by
PLT JELLAH MAE Q ARAQUE,
BCAD Officer RMFB13 under the
supervision of PCOL LAUDEMER
M LAUDE, Force Commander,
RMFB13 facilitate the conduct
activity of DSWD and TESDA to the
34 Former Rebel of RMFB13, the 2-Day Orientation on SLP and TESDA Livelihood Training
to Former Rebel of RMFB13. The training of former rebel will provide interventions to help
the country become insurgency-free by providing livelihood opportunities that will help the
poverty reduction in CARAGA Region.

Community Outreach Program in


partnership with Local Government
Units and Non-Government
Organizations.

RMFB13 regularly conducts Community


Outreach Program to the Barangays who were
identified and influenced by the Communist
Terrorist Groups (CTGs). More than two five
thousand recipients of the different barangays
availed the services. The said activities were
realized in partnership with government
agencies, civic organizations and stakeholders.

Project “Offer-rasyon”

The Project "Offer-rasyon" was sets forth to effectively fight insurgency by not
only pursuing to the enemy but also to bring the government closer to communities
especially in the CTG affected areas. This is in line with the PNP P.A.T.R.O.L Plan
2030 Roadmap on process excellence to improve community safety awareness
through community-oriented and human rights-based policing..
