Subject: SECOND SERIES OF THE NATIONAL VIRTUAL ORIENTATION

ON THE USE OF DEPED SPORTS MANUAL

The Office of the Undersecretary for Administration (OUA) and the Bureau of
Learner Support Services–School Sports Division (BLSS–SSD) developed and produced
the DepEd Sports Manual for each of the 27 sports in Palarong Pambansa. As an
initial phase of its rollout, the first series of the National Virtual Orientation on the
Use of the DepEd Sports Manual was conducted on 17 November – 03 December
2020 through OUA Memo 00-1120-0105.
In this connection, the second series of the said orientation shall be conducted
from 12 January to 06 February 2021 via Zoom (Kindly refer to the attached
schedule of the orientation per sport). The target participants are Physical Education
(PE) teachers and school sports officers/coordinators. Only five (5) participants per
sport from each of the 17 regions shall be accommodated.
All concerned are enjoined to authorize the resource persons listed in the
attachment and the participants to be identified by the regional sports officers (RSOs)
to attend the virtual activity. Moreover, the resource persons and participants must
secure authority from their respective supervisors/heads of office, and if necessary,
arrange for a substitute to take over the school chores in their absence. For reference
