[DE]Constructing Routine

Research

What is the relationship between routine

and spatiality?

• There is a form of routine i.e. a “work” routine

that includes meetings, paperwork, and other
tasks. However, the rooms given, which are
cramped square boxes with no possibility
for social interaction, make this work routine
annoying and chaotic. Employees’ work

routines become “numb” or “aggravating”

in this instance. Because of the state of their
workplaces, employees want to flee them.

• Employees working in such conditions try to

find alternative locations (shared spaces,
In between spaces, vestibule spaces) in
order to work sufficiently and reduce work
stress. This ultimately leads to a new type
of routine as it allows employees to have a
“pause” in the routine as well as to work
sufficiently

• To rethink the architecture of “pause” in

monotonous nature of the routine.

Spatial Scope :

• To devise strategies in reconfiguring spaces

Ward office to increase social and visual connectivity.

• To devise strategies in reconfiguring the

spatial quality of transitional spaces by
making it more active than its usual func-
tion.

• To explore the multifunctional character(-

nature) of a space such that it encourages
(promotes) the coexisting setting of routine
shared space.

What is idea distorting the monotonous nature of the space by intro-

ducing absurd artifacts which encourages social interplay?

Abusrd form Creates two types interaction :- 1. Self Interaction 2. Interpersonal interaction
Self interaction gets generated because of the absurdity of the form that it quetions ouerselves.
These type of seating spaces allows In curiosity of knowing about the absurd form we try to visit the form where many people come to
explore the same thing where interpersonal interaction gets developed.
