GRADUATION CEREMONY SCRIPT

I. ANNOUNCEMENT THAT CEREMONY IS ABOUT TO BEGIN

Namatacan ElementarySchool Commencement Exercises are about to begin. We expect the

Commencement Exercises to last approximately 2 hours so before we begin this ceremony, let me
remind you to turn your cellphone to silent mode and be courteous around you by refraining from
talking aloud during the presentation of graduates. We encourage you to express your pride by
applauding and cheering.

II. INTRODUCTION

Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. Graduation day is always a day of rejoicing for it marks the
conclusion of an educational journey and the commencement of another more uncertain and more
difficult part of man’s quest for a better life and future. Truly, signifies the culmination of many years
of hard work in the relentless pursuit of knowledge, knowledge that will enable a person to embrace
opportunities and to take challenge with clear vision and purpose.

Today, another history slowly unfolds as we come to an end of the school year 2018-2019. Friends,
welcome to the ___ Commencement Exercises of Namatacan Elementary School.

III. PROCESSIONAL AND ENTRANCE OF COLORS

With so much cheer, let us laud the graduates as they march towards the venue.

IV. ENTRY OF GRADUATES AND PARENTS

At this time, let us welcome the candidates for Graduation for School Year 2018-2019. This batch is
composed of 1 sections named Grade VI Alexandite headed by Mr. Alex D. Academia, Teacher- III,
together with their proud parents.

V. ENTRY OF THE FACULTY, GUEST SPEAKERS AND OTHER IMPORTANT

OFFICIALS

Let us also welcome the highly esteemed members of the academic community led by the dynamic
and supportive Public School District Supervisors, madam Emily D. Mayor, the epitome of
empowered man and a great school leader, our very own School Principal II, Neora B. Aligan,
together with the vibrant and high calibers educators of this institution, honored guest of honor and
speaker barangay officials who are with us today, members and officers of PTA, colleagues, visitors
and friends.

 VI. CALL TO ORDERS, LUPANG HINIRANG, INVOCATION, OTHER HYMNS

The Commencement Exercises of Namatacan Elementary School is now in order. May I request
everyone to please all rise as we pay tribute to our National Flag through the singing of the Philippine
National Anthem to be followed by singing of Rehiyon III, Zambales Hymn and San Narciso Hymn
to be conducted by our Grade I teacher, Mdm.Armi V. Relopez, Teacher I.

Please remain standing as we pay tribute, honor and glory to our Almighty GOD through the
Doxology to be rendered to us by the selected Grade V pupils.
Please be seated.

VII. ANNOUNCEMENT

Members of the graduating class, honored guests, PTA Board of Directors, faculty, staff, students,
family, alumni and friends, I am Sir. Alex D. Academia, and Mdm. Mary Jane p. Pagar, your
Ceremonial Masters for the Commencement Exercises. First and foremost , thank you to the members
of the working committee who spent many long hours planning this day and to the many others that
have helped to organize and plan this very important event. Thank you maams and sirs.

VIII. WORDS OF WELCOME

May we call in the Batch 2019 with Honors, Rian Denisse Azurin, for her welcome address. A warm
of applause please.

Thank you very much for the heart-warming speech Denisse, with honors.

IX. PRESENTATION AND CONFIRMATION OF CANDIDATES

And now, the main highlight of today’s affair is about to unfold in our midst. To do the honors off
presenting this year’s candidates for graduation, May we have on the stage our School Principal II, the
school head of exemplary performance, none other than madam Neora B. Aligan,to be followed right
away by the acceptance and confirmation of the graduates and message by no less than our vibrant
and stunning Public School District Supervisor, Mdm. Emily D. Mayor.

Thank you madam for the heart-inspiring message you had given to the graduates.

X. PRESENTATION OF THE GUEST OF HONOR AND SPEAKER

Today’s affair is being graced by a special man who will in a minute deliver his words of wisdom to
our young graduates and to their parents as well. To get to know more of him, May we call on the
stage Khyle Khaezie Espiritu, with honors, to do the honor in introducing our 2019 Commencent
Exercises Guest of Honor and Speaker.

May we have on the stage once more our PSDS, Mdm. Emily D. Mayor, our Principal II, Madam
Neora B. Aligan, our FPTA President, Mdm. Mary Jane Falsario, our Barangay Captain , Mr. George
Mata and Mr. Alex D. Academia,Grade VI Adviser for the awarding of the Plaque of Appreciation to
our Guest of Honor and Speaker.

Please stay at the center of the stage as we award the diplomas and certificates of our graduates.

 XI. AWARDING OF DIPLOMAS, CERTIFICATES AND MEDALS TO THE
GRADUATES

A certificate of Graduation is the tangible evidence of being a graduate in a certain level of education.
This is now the fruit of each pupil’s endeavour. So to do the honors, once again, we have on the stage
are the members of the educational community.

And now, the most awaited of our programme, especially for the parents and the learners who will be
awarded, let us now move on to the awarding of medals and certificates to honors and deserving
pupils.

At this juncture, to lead their pledge of loyalty, may I call on Ashley Espiritu, with honors.

XIII. GRADUATION SONG

Music is the expression of the soul, it moves emotions and feels with the movement of the time.
Through a song that emphasizes the strength amidst challenges, let us hear the graduation song
(Panagko by the kindergarten Movers)“ This is my Now”( Grade 6 Completers) .

XIV. TRIBUTE TO PARENTS

That was an awesome delivery of lines and melody and I hope our guests think the same. At this
point, the batch 2019 would have not reached this far, if not because of the people beside them. The
graduates would wish to take this opportunity to thank their parents in one way or another. Let us hear
them once more. ( Parang Nalimot mo na)

XV. WORDS OF GRATITUDE

Saying and giving thank you to all the people behind your success is worth appreciating. At this
juncture, may I call on the stage Heidy Lhee Cacho, with honors for the Words of Thanks and
Gratitude.

XVI. RECESSIONAL

The closing hour has finally arrived. Tomorrow, new challenges and opportunities await our graduates
that will further test their mettle as improving individuals.

As they continue with their journey, may they look back to this stage in their life with fondness and
pride.
