Big salary is much more important than job satisfaction.

Do you agree or disagree?

Provide relevant examples if necessary.

Introduction
Write your introduction in two sentences:
 Sentence 1 - paraphrase the statement (you can use ‘it is
argued/considered/thought that’ to start):
It is often argued that it is more advantageous to choose a job with high
wage/income/salary, even if it doesn't appeal to you at all.
 Sentence 2 - say whether you agree or disagree with it and extend your
opinion:
I completely/totally disagree with this opinion and think that job satisfaction is
much more important than salary.
Body paragraph 1 - the 1st reason you agree/disagree
 Sentence 1 - state the first reason you agree/disagree.
This sentence should contain the main idea of the whole 1st paragraph.  Use
words firstly or first of all to introduce the first reason. In our case we’ll use the
reason that job satisfaction gives you a sense of fulfillment:
First of all, I believe that job satisfaction gives people a sense of fulfillment that
no money can guarantee.
 Sentences 2-3 - explain the reason.
To explain the reason effectively, you can imagine that your examiner has no
knowledge of this subject at all and you have to explain every detail:
Even if someone is earning a high salary, but feels tensed and compromises with
his conscience, this person won’t enjoy his life. While pursuing one’s interests
will always bring pleasure and feeling of satisfaction.
 Sentence 4 - example.
It’s always good to give examples in your body paragraphs, even if you’re not asked
to do it. In our case, the task asks you to provide relevant examples:
For example, a lot of famous researchers made their career choices not because
of appealing wages, but because they were passionate about science.
 Sentence 5 - a short summary of your ideas in this paragraph:
That’s why it’s more important to choose the kind of work that makes you
happy than to look only at a high salary.
Body paragraph 2 - the 2nd reason you agree/disagree
 Sentence 1 - state the second reason you agree/disagree.
This statement should contain the main idea of the whole 2nd paragraph. Use
words secondly or moreover to introduce the second reason:
Secondly, doing what you like keeps you motivated and therefore leads to a
career growth.
 Sentences 2-3 - explain the reason (assume that your examiner doesn’t
understand the topic at all):
In other words, there is a strong relation between job satisfaction and
productivity. People who love their jobs can easily excel in their fields of work
and achieve better results than those, who put salary on the first place.
 Sentence 4 - support your idea with an example:
For instance, Henry Miller decided to leave his everyday job despite a good wage
and ventured to become a writer. And after enduring years of ups and downs he
became one of the most famous and well-paid authors of the twentieth century.
 Sentence 5 - a short summary of your thoughts in the 2nd paragraph.
Thus, advantages of jobs that keep you satisfied outweigh the drawback of a low
salary in a long-term perspective.
Conclusion
You can write the conclusion in one sentence that summarizes your opinion + 2 reasons
for it:
To conclude, I strongly believe that job satisfaction is more beneficial than high
salary because it makes people happy and motivated.
DO NOT write new ideas in the conclusion!

You know exercise is good for you, but do you know how good? From boosting your mood to
improving your sex life, find out how exercise can improve your life.

By Mayo Clinic Staff

Want to feel better, have more energy and even add years to your life? Just exercise.

The health benefits of regular exercise and physical activity are hard to ignore. Everyone
benefits from exercise, regardless of age, sex or physical ability.

Need more convincing to get moving? Check out these seven ways that exercise can lead to a
happier, healthier you.

1. Exercise controls weight

Exercise can help prevent excess weight gain or help maintain weight loss. When you engage in
physical activity, you burn calories. The more intense the activity, the more calories you burn.

Regular trips to the gym are great, but don't worry if you can't find a large chunk of time to
exercise every day. Any amount of activity is better than none at all. To reap the benefits of
exercise, just get more active throughout your day — take the stairs instead of the elevator or
rev up your household chores. Consistency is key.

2. Exercise combats health conditions and diseases

Worried about heart disease? Hoping to prevent high blood pressure? No matter what your
current weight is, being active boosts high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol, the "good"
cholesterol, and it decreases unhealthy triglycerides. This one-two punch keeps your blood
flowing smoothly, which decreases your risk of cardiovascular diseases.

Regular exercise helps prevent or manage many health problems and concerns, including:

Stroke
Metabolic syndrome
High blood pressure
Type 2 diabetes
Depression
Anxiety
Many types of cancer
Arthritis
Falls
It can also help improve cognitive function and helps lower the risk of death from all causes.

3. Exercise improves mood

Need an emotional lift? Or need to destress after a stressful day? A gym session or brisk walk
can help. Physical activity stimulates various brain chemicals that may leave you feeling
happier, more relaxed and less anxious.

You may also feel better about your appearance and yourself when you exercise regularly,
which can boost your confidence and improve your self-esteem.

4. Exercise boosts energy

Winded by grocery shopping or household chores? Regular physical activity can improve your
muscle strength and boost your endurance.

Exercise delivers oxygen and nutrients to your tissues and helps your cardiovascular system
work more efficiently. And when your heart and lung health improve, you have more energy to
tackle daily chores.

5. Exercise promotes better sleep

Struggling to snooze? Regular physical activity can help you fall asleep faster, get better sleep
and deepen your sleep. Just don't exercise too close to bedtime, or you may be too energized to
go to sleep.

6. Exercise puts the spark back into your sex life

Do you feel too tired or too out of shape to enjoy physical intimacy? Regular physical activity
can improve energy levels and increase your confidence about your physical appearance, which
may boost your sex life.

But there's even more to it than that. Regular physical activity may enhance arousal for women.
And men who exercise regularly are less likely to have problems with erectile dysfunction than
are men who don't exercise.

7. Exercise can be fun … and social!

Exercise and physical activity can be enjoyable. They give you a chance to unwind, enjoy the
outdoors or simply engage in activities that make you happy. Physical activity can also help you
connect with family or friends in a fun social setting.

So take a dance class, hit the hiking trails or join a soccer team. Find a physical activity you
enjoy, and just do it. Bored? Try something new, or do something with friends or family.

The bottom line on exercise

Exercise and physical activity are great ways to feel better, boost your health and have fun. For
most healthy adults, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services recommends these
exercise guidelines:

Aerobic activity. Get at least 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity or 75 minutes of vigorous
aerobic activity a week, or a combination of moderate and vigorous activity. The guidelines
suggest that you spread out this exercise during the course of a week. To provide even greater
health benefit and to assist with weight loss or maintaining weight loss, at least 300 minutes a
week is recommended. But even small amounts of physical activity are helpful. Being active for
short periods of time throughout the day can add up to provide health benefit.
Strength training. Do strength training exercises for all major muscle groups at least two times a
week. Aim to do a single set of each exercise using a weight or resistance level heavy enough to
tire your muscles after about 12 to 15 repetitions.
Moderate aerobic exercise includes activities such as brisk walking, biking, swimming and
mowing the lawn. Vigorous aerobic exercise includes activities such as running, heavy yardwork
and aerobic dancing. Strength training can include use of weight machines, your own body
weight, heavy bags, resistance tubing or resistance paddles in the water, or activities such as
rock climbing.

If you want to lose weight, meet specific fitness goals or get even more benefits, you may need
to ramp up your moderate aerobic activity even more.

Remember to check with your doctor before starting a new exercise program, especially if you
have any concerns about your fitness, haven't exercised for a long time, have chronic health
problems, such as heart disease, diabetes or arthritis.

1, These days people are conscious about their heath and follow different patterns for a
healthier lifestyle. While some people believe that exercise plays the major role for a human
body, others feel that if a healthy dietary pattern is followed consistently, it can be least
prioritized. This essay will discuss both viewpoints and provide inferences as to why a balanced
meal should be given more importance.

To begin with, exercise is considered as the most important physical activity for humans
irrespective of their age. Also, workout keeps a person's mind refreshed. For instance, any
physical work like running in fresh air tends to breathe in more oxygen which is very effective
in relieving mental pressure. In addition, unlike heavy gymnasium equipments, yoga is a classic
example which an individual of every age group can practise and benefit from it. Thus, physical
workout is considered a key to healthy life and balanced mind.

Nonetheless, a balanced diet consisting of proportionate carbohydrates and proteins has always
been a shortcut to good health because these practices have been followed since old times when
cardio activities like aerobics, power yoga were not known. I second the fact that physical
activity helps when a person consumes healthy food. To illustrate, many youngsters have
started going to the gym to build their muscles, but this will not be effective unless they eat
protein rich substances. Hence, it cannot be denied, that the cardiovascular movements are very
good for health, but this can also jeopardize a healthy man if meal consisting of variant
substances are not consumed.

In conclusion, nutritious food and physical exercise both are of equal importance to maintain a
balanced life. Looking at the inferences discussed above, we can clearly state that they both go
hand in hand. However, a slight priority must be given to one's diet, such that he/she can build
their physique to challenge any type of physical work.

1.1. Keeping fit
What are the best ways to keep fit?
The best way to keep fit is to do exercise that raises your heart rate. The heart is a muscle
and has to be worked like any other muscle. So golf, in my opinion, is not the best form of
exercise. Something like jogging or swimming or surfing is much more beneficial.

Do you think most people consider exercise a chore or do they find it fun?
I think most people feel it is something they should do. That is a mistake, as far as I’m
concerned, because the best way to exercise is not to think about the fitness aspect and just
have fun . You can exercise without even noticing you’re doing it if you play volleyball with your
friends, or go snorkelling, or go for a long walk on a sunny day, or something like that.

What is the most popular form of exercise in your country?

I would say the most popular form of exercise is going to the gym. I’m in two minds
about the gym as a way to keep fit. On the one hand , it is convenient. But on the other
hand, a gym is a very controlled environment, somewhat lacking in imagination and
spontaneity.

1.2. Healthy lifestyles

Do you think people in your country are less healthy than they used to be?
Yes, definitely. I would argue that the invention of TV has led to people being much
too sedentary. I know some people who refuse to have a television because they think
that without one they are much more likely to keep active – it’s all too easy to become a
coach potato. Also, most people work in offices so they just sit in a chair all day long and
only move to go to the photocopier. That’s very unhealthy. People used to work the land
and so be on the go from morning till night. Obesity was unknown then, except among
the super rich, I imagine.

How can we encourage young people to stay healthy?

Parents should set a good example. But I strongly believe that schools have a crucial role to play.
Not only can they offer a wide range of sports for children to play, they can teach them about
eating a balanced diet, and the negative effects of eating junk food and not exercising. If children
don’t hear all this from home, they have to hear it from somewhere, and I would argue that it’s
the schools’ responsibility. Once they get a taste for playing sports, they will love the sense of
achievement it can give you and the feeling of camaraderie with your team mates, and then
hopefully they won’t ever want to stop playing sports.

Should governments intervene to force people to be healthier?

Hmm, I’m highly sceptical of the idea that governments should force their citizens to
be healthy. People ought to be encouraged to lead healthy lives, but not forced to. They
could, for example, run an ad campaign showing people how to eat a balanced diet – that
you need to eat some carbohydrates, some vegetables and fruit, some meat and so on.
I think most people don’t know that.

But I’m unconvinced that trying to force people into healthy habits would work because when
bullied like that people tend to resent it and react by sticking even more firmly with their
unhealthy lifestyles. The one area where I strongly believe legislation is necessary is with
smoking. Smokers can harm others through passive smoking so they should not be allowed to
smoke in public places. In fact, this has just recently been outlawed in my country.

Compare the differences between sports now and in the past.
That’s an interesting question. There are lots of differences between sports now and in the past.
In think money is one big difference. For example, big companies sponsor some sports
competitions and competitors can win lots of money. Technology is another difference. For
example, motor racing is different compared to the past. Today the cars are very fast and drivers
often make new records.

In your opinion, do people in your country eat better or worse nowadays?

I’m not sure. I think some people eat better because they have lots of money. They can buy
different fresh food or they can go to the best restaurants. Cooking is a popular hobby for some
people. But there are lots of poor people in my country and they don’t eat well. For example,
they have to eat cheap food or junk food and this is bad for them.

That’s interesting. Firstly, I think we should encourage young people to be healthy.
It’s important to stay healthy. We should use the media and famous people to
encourage young people. For example, TV shows can show people exciting sports.
Famous people can describe activities or healthy diets. Finally, parents should show
their children how to be healthy.

Do you think a country’s government should help people

to be healthy?
Yes, definitely. In my opinion, I think the government should teach people about
healthy lifestyles. For example, give people information about healthy diets so people
can eat well. They should describe different activities that are good for your mind
and for your body. Then people in the country can be fit and happy and healthy.
It’s argued that exercise played the major role for a
human body and health. And I completely agree with this opinion
due to some popular reasons.
First of all, exercise can control your weight. When you
engage in physical activity, you burn calories. The more intense
the activity, the more calories you burn. Something like jogging or
swimming or gym is much beneficial. For instance, the girl whose
instagram is Lexi Reed is famous for her losing 158 kilograms by
jogging and doing gymnastics. Exercise can help prevent excess
