Oil flow level of optional attachment
In order to make good use of the monitor, it is necessary to
(Breaker / Crusher)
understand and compare the data of normal equipment. -4-
3) Warning Lamps
(1) On Gauges
① Coolant & Hyd. oil temperature
- White area: 40-105℃
- Red area: above 105℃
② Fuel level(Ex. R850LC-9)
- Red area: Below 182ℓ(Fuel tank: 940ℓ)

① Emergency
- Coolant overheating (above 107℃)
- Hydraulic oil overheating (above 105℃)
- Pump EPPR v/v circuit abnormal
- Attachment flow EPPR circuit abnormal
- MCU input voltage abnormal
- Accel dial circuit abnormal

- Engine ECM communication data error (MCU-ECM)
Some of the MCU or ECM fault
② Check Engine codes are inactive on key on, but
may switch to an active fault
- Communication error between MCU-ECM code if the engine is running or

- Cluster received any fault code from ECM Therefore, although it is an
inactive fault code, it may be
③ Overload(Option) necessary to review it in detail.

- Overload is detected from the overload switch on the Boom safety valve, the overload warning lamp blinks

A good use of clusters can help you check your equipment.
-6-
1) Mode
(1) Work tool
※ It should be selected properly to mach with the Work tool !

① Breaker setting

② Crusher setting

cf. When ‘Not installed’ is selected, WORK button will not work.
Work equipment should be applied according to the equipment
specifications so that optimum performance and failure can be prevented. -7-
(2) U Mode

(If the U Mode is not selected)

① To proceed, the U Mode should be selected first.

Push !

② Engine speed, Idle speed and Power shift modification

· Engine high idle rpm, auto idle rpm and pump torque (power shift) can be modulated and memorized separately in U-mode.
· U-mode can be activated by user mode switch.
It is recommended to use the U mode after understanding the equipment thoroughly. If it is
set incorrectly, the performance of the equipment and fuel consumption may be deteriorated. -8-
(3) Boom/Arm speed

· Boom speed
- Control type
Manual - Boom up speed is fixed as set steps.
Auto - Boom up speed is automatically adjusted as working conditions by the MCU.

- Speed setting - Boom up speed is increased as much as activated steps.

· Arm speed
- Regeneration - Arm regeneration function can be activated or
cancelled.

Enable - Arm in speed is up.

Disable - Fine operation.

If you use the arm speed regeneration function in a leveling operation,

Q : Fine operation? you may not be able to perform a good performance operation. -9-
(4) Auto power boost

· The power boost function can be activated or cancelled.

· Enable - The digging power is automatically increased as working conditions by the MCU.
It is operated max 8 seconds. (P mode only)
· Disable - Not operated.

(5) Initial Mode

· Default - The initial power mode is set E mode when the engine is started.
· U mode - The initial power mode is set U mode when the engine is started.

If initial mode is not in E or U mode after engine startup, it may be somewhere faulty.
-10-
(6) Cluster switches(Back up)

; Even if any switch on cluster is abnormal, the function of the abnormal switch can be selected and
changed instead of using the Cluster switch mode.

Use it to escape
from the Cluster
switch mode.

- In order to escape from the ‘Cluster switch’ mode, move the selection to ‘ESC/CAM’ by turning
the Selection switch.

- While the ‘Cluster switch’ mode is operated, the existing switches do not work including the Accel dial.

-11-
2) Monitoring

· Refer to the MACHINE ERROR CODES list(Sample)

· Refer to the ENGINE FAULT CODES list(Sample)

Q : SPN & FMI? -12-

· The logged faults of the MCU or engine ECM can be checked by this menu.

The logged fault code delete function can help you determine which of the inactive faults is the actual fault.

Q : Why delete? -13-

In monitoring, if the accel pedal position value changes practically well, the MCU can be judged as normal.

Q : Speed/Temp./Volt/P? -14-
⑥ Operating hours

· The operating hour of each mode can be confirmed by this menu.

You can analyze the uptime if owner is complaining that owner had a lot of fuel.
-15-
3) Management

Maintenance
pilot lamp

- Elapsed time Reset to ‘0’.

※ Strong recommendation!
☞ After replacement of
filters and oils, reset the
accumulated time!! - Interval time modification.

Consumable replacement cycles can be adjusted according to

· Interval time can be changed to 12500hr by the 50hr. working conditions, site conditions, temperature and so on.
-16-
② Machine security

· ESL mode
- ESL : Engine Starting Limit
- ESL mode is designed to be a theft deterrent or will prevent
the unauthorized operation of the machine.
- If the ESL mode was selected Enable, the password will
be required when the start switch is turned ON.
- Disable : Not used ESL function

- Enable (always) : The password is required whenever the

operator start engine.
Enable (interval) : The password is required when the operator
start engine first. But the operator
can restart the engine within the interval
time without inputting the password.
The interval time can be set maximum 7
days.(min. 5 min.)

- Select number and after number selection, enter with the ‘*’.
- Press ‘ESC/CAM’ button or the select dial a little while to escape from the password set function.

-17-
· Password change
- The password should be 5 ~ 10 digits.
