What is picture method of teaching?

The use of images in the classroom is a pedagogical strategy aimed at engaging students
who have grown up in a media-rich environment. Digital technology has made images
more readily available and easier to incorporate into teaching and learning materials.

Inquiry-based instruction is a student-centered approach where the instructor guides the
students through questions posed, methods designed, and data interpreted by the
students. Through inquiry, students actively discover information to support their
investigations

According to this method of teaching by asking questions:

1. The teacher begins by asking a question about an issue to be explored with the class.
2. The class and teacher work together to determine the basic knowledge and key terms they
need to address the question.

What is questioning method of teaching?

Questioning techniques – a set of methods used by teachers when asking questions, such
as wait time and bounce. Experienced teachers recognise the power of questions. When
skilfully delivered, questions boost student engagement, improve understanding and
promote critical thinking.

Reflective discussions encourage students to think and talk about what they have
observed, heard or read. The teacher or student initiates the discussion by asking a
question that requires students to reflect upon and interpret films, experiences, read or
recorded stories, or illustrations.
Why is guided instruction important?

Guided instruction provides students with opportunities to respond to questions, prompts

and cues as they learn the desired academic or social skill. ... Guided instruction is based on
the needs of the students during any given lesson.

A heterogeneous group gives advanced students a chance to mentor their peers. All

members of the group may interact more to help each other understand the concepts being
taught.

What are the advantages of heterogeneous groups?

Heterogeneous grouping allows students to learn from one another's differences and
provides a chance to interact with diverse individuals. It also enables advanced students to
mentor their peers.

A Rubric Assessment Tool is an assessment tool, usually in the form of a matrix or grid,  that
clearly indicates achievement criteria across all the components of any kind of student work,
from written to oral to visual. Rubrics are sometimes called "criteria sheets", "grading
schemes", or "scoring guides". It can be used for marking assignments, class participation, or
overall grades.
There are two types of rubrics: holistic and analytic.

There are two types of rubrics: holistic and analytic.
Holistic rubrics
Holistic rubrics group several different assessment criteria and classify them together under
grade headings or achievement levels.
Analytic rubrics
Analytic rubrics separate different assessment criteria and address them comprehensively.
In a horizontal assessment rubric, the top axis includes values that can be expressed either
numerically or by letter grade, or a scale from Exceptional to Poor (or Professional to
Amateur, and so on). The side axis includes the assessment criteria for each component.
Analytic rubrics can also permit different weightings for different components.

What is Population?
In statistics, population is the entire set of items from which you draw data for a statistical
study. It can be a group of individuals, a set of items, etc. It makes up the data pool for a
study.

Generally, population refers to the people who live in a particular area at a specific time. But
in statistics, population refers to data on your study of interest. It can be a group of
individuals, objects, events, organizations, etc. You use populations to draw conclusions.

Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx What is a Sample?

A sample represents the group of interest from the population, which you will use to
represent the data. The sample is an unbiased subset of the population that best represents
the whole data.

To overcome the restraints of a population, you can sometimes collect data from a subset of
your population and then consider it as the general norm. You collect the subset
information from the groups who have taken part in the study, making the data reliable. The
results obtained for different groups who took part in the study can be extrapolated to
generalize for the population.
