FUNDAMENTOS DE LA ASIGNATURA (1):

This subject is essential to the development and improvement of the four skills of the language,
as well as the increase of specific vocabulary of Tourism.

OBJETIVOS (2):

To enable students to express themselves fluently, using acceptable pronunciation, intonation,


sentence structure, and vocabulary.
To express them in the written way using the language and grammar structures correctly.
To use idiomatic expressions and technical vocabulary properly.
To stimulate them to give their own opinions and participate in discussions and debates.
To expose them to a variety of challenging and interesting text types in the listening and reading
activities.
To expand their expressive and comprehensive skills by enlarging vocabulary and selecting vital
information.
To help them to improve the language skills they will need in real life.

METODOLOGÍA (4):

Oral and written activities, in pairs or groups, will take place. Activities such as listening
comprehension, role-playing, debates and discussions, researching for projects, etc. will also be
performed by the students.

EVALUACIÓN Y CONDICIONES PARA OBTENER LA REGULARIDAD (5):

CRITERIOS:
The students have:
 To show they understand the different texts and the vocabulary.
 To express themselves fluently, using acceptable pronunciation, intonation, sentence structure,
and vocabulary.
 To be able to express their opinions on the topics describes in the syllabus.
 To express them in the written way using the language and grammar structures correctly.
 To participate actively in class.
INSTRUMENTOS:
 Retelling of articles related to Tourism as well as the research results of different assignments.
 Written and Oral Practice papers.
 Preparing and giving presentations about specific topics.
 Roleplaying situations spontaneously.
 Active participation in class will be evaluated.
CONDICIONES PARA OBTENER LA REGULARIDAD Y/O PROMOCIONALIDAD
 Attendance: 80 % of given classes.
 Punctuality.
 Practice Papers: 60% of oral and written practice tests.
 To pass the Mid term or re-sit exam.
Passing mark: 60% = 4 (tour)
