WEEKLY HOME LEARNING PLAN


GRADE 10

Learning Area: MAPEH -PE Week No: 5 Date Coverage: November 29-December 3, 2021

Objectives : At the end of the module, the learner is expected to:


 Maintain an active lifestyle to influence the physical activity participation of the
community and society
 Expresses a sense of purpose and belongingness by practicing in physical activity
related community services and programs
 Applies correct techniques to minimize risk of injuries
 Demonstrate warm up techniques
 Applies the warmup techniques to everyday workout and exercise.
 Develops the discipline in making your body fit and healthy.

DAY AND TIME LEARNING TASKS


Wednesday
7:30-8:30 Wake up, make up your bed, eat breakfast, and get ready for an awesome
day!
8:30-9:00 Have a short exercise/meditation/bonding with the family.
1:00-1:45 Preliminaries/Introduction (What I Need to Know)
To begin the learning session, you are going to read and understand the given
objectives in what I need to know column.
1:45-1:55 Pre assessment (What I Know)
Let the learner read and answer the activities on pp. 3-5. Note: Guide him/her
in accomplishing the task. Encourage the learner to not worry about the result
since it’s just a matter on how much does he/she knows about the topic.
PROCEDURES
1:55-2:05 1. Review/Motivations (What’s In)
In this part of the module, the learner will have a brief drill or review to help
him/her to link the current lesson with the previous one. Have the learner
answer the activity 1 Fitness Survey on page 5 and 6. Note: Allow the learner
to think, answer freely and remember the concepts how he/she answered the
activity. Remind the learner to tap his/her teacher if he/she has a question
regarding on the content and direction.
2:05-2:15 2. Initial Activity/Discovery (What’s New)
Before doing an activity, you will undergo basic stretching and warm-up
exercises to condition your body in performing a variety of fitness activities in
your module. Let the learner read and analyze the START BEING FIT-STRETCH
IT OUT on p. 6 and 7. Note: Remind him/her that It’s okay to raise question if
there’s any via text, email, or phone call.
2:15-2:25 3. Discussion of the Topic (What Is It)
In this part of the module, the activities are arranged from simple to complex
to help the learner gradually master the desired learning competency. You are
going to read and understand the importance and purpose of performing
warm up exercises before doing any physical acitivity which are located on pp.
8. Note: Take time to read, analyze and practice with the leaner the materials
and examples for better understanding of the lessons. This may help the
learner to engage himself/herself more in the learning task.
2:25-3:00 4. Enrichment Activities (What’s More)
This part of the module comprises activites for independent practice by the
learner to solidify his/her understanding and skills of the topic. You are going
to read and answer Independent Assessment 1 Wellness Lifestyle
Questionnaire and independent activity 2 on page 8-11 Note: Make sure that
the learner answers the activities properly. Remind him/her to read and follow
the instruction given in each activity correctly.
3:00-3:05 5. Generalization (What I Have Learned)
You will write your thoughts regarding on the importance of warming up
before doing physical activities. Note: Check if the learner has completed the
activity. Guide him/her in doing the task by retaliating the significance of the
given topic.
3:05-3:15 6. Application (What I Can Do)
This part of the module provides an activity which help the learner transfer
his/her new knowledge or skill into real life situations. He/She has to perform
the Walking for Fitness and Fun on p. 12 of this module.
3:15-3:25 7. Assessment (Post assessment)
This is the task which aims to evaluate the learner’s level of mastery in
achieving the learning competency. He/She has to answer the assessment on
p. 13-14 on this module. Note: Again, guide the learner in accomplishing the
task on his/her own and promote honesty in answering the task.
3:25-4:30 8. Additional Activity
In this portion, another activity on p. 16 will be given to the learner to enrich
his/her knowledge or skill of the lesson that he/she has learned.
MODE OF DELIVERY
After answering this module, the parent will return this module and answer
sheets personally to the adviser on the given schedule for retrieval.
