CDS MARX CrypToken

 The token protects against unauthorised access to the
modules.
 It is required if a UCM module has been installed.
 A security certificate is present in the token and in the
UCM module.
 SW flashing, parameterisation and RTK NET
parameterisation is only possible if the token has been
plugged into the computer.
 A pin and super pin are not currently required.
 The token can be plugged into different computers.
 Spare part no.: 002642806.X

Connecting with the CDS

Connecting the WLAN interface:

As soon as the WLAN interface is connected to the
1
machine, it is supplied with power.

3 Note: The power supply in the diagnostic socket (1) is

not provided on all CLAAS machines. It can be
identified by the light (2).
The WLAN signal (3) is currently active.
4

2 A CAN Bus connection with the machine is set up only

after ignition ON.

The display (4) shows different operating statuses.

PC and the WLAN interface.

 Spare part number: 1420 287.0

 Communication is particularly improved on
Windows 10 operating systems.
 The PC's internal WLAN can be simultaneously
used to connect to the Internet.

Engine diagnosis

The essential engine diagnostics can be found in the

function diagnostics (1).

Select item "01 Engine" in the function diagnostics.

1 The tiles (2) are used to choose whether diagnostics
2 3 are to be carried out on the fuel system, cooling,
exhaust gas, engine control or exhaust treatment.

Caution: The "Exhaust treatment" item (3) only

appears for engines with exhaust treatment.

Functions can be selected in the upper area (4). All

values connected with the respective function are then
listed there.

Component tests and/or commissioning can be carried

4 out in the lower area (5).

Select the desired test and follow the instructions.

Engine function diagnostics

The pictorial representation (2) can be selected under

the function diagnostics for the engines (1).
The same signals as in the list under (1) are displayed

Parametrization / calibration

Under the "Parametrisation" item (1), various parameter

values in the engine control units and in other modules
can be modified.
3 However, you must proceed very carefully here in order
1 to avoid malfunctioning.
2
Select the desired group under Settings/
Parameterisation (2). Enter or select the desired values
(3).
4 Transmit the new values to the control unit (4).

The machine equipment is configured under the

"Configuration" menu item (5).
The round points (6) allow one version only to be
selected.
5 Certain items of equipment require an access code (7).
6 This code can be found on the machine data card via
service online.

Module diagnosis – Testing module outputs

For example, tests can be performed on

XERION/AXION machines under the
"Diagnostics/Module outputs" menu (1) by actuating the
gearbox solenoid valves (2) by clicking on them.
2
The lower field (3) also displays the resulting speeds.
1

Green harvest machines have a function keys submenu

(4) in the diagnostics menu, under components.

This allows the ISOBUS operating functions and key

assignment in the control terminal to be tested by
4 actuating the keys and viewing the associated values in
the CDS (5).
