Application Forms can be obtained from 1st September 2014 to 13th September
2014 between 11.00 AM to 01.00 PM from the following places.

Photocopy of application forms is also acceptable.
Last date of receiving the filled up forms through registered/speed post at the
office of the General Manager, HRD Dept; Kalyan Bhawan, Jagjiwan Nagar,
Dhanbad - 826003 is 27th September 2014. Application forms will not be
received by hand. BCCL Management will not be responsible for any loss or
delay in transit of the application forms.

 GENERAL INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLICANTS
SRIJAN: Special scheme for providing unpaid training to wards of fire affected and
project affected people belonging to SC/ST community within the command area of
BCCL for enabling them to appear in statutory examinations conducted by DGMS
&
1. Eligibility of the scheme: This scheme is open only for wards of fire affected and project
affected people belonging to SC/ST community within the command area of BCCL. Only
male candidates are eligible.
2. Minimum Educational Qualifications of applicants (wards).
a. For Sirdarship Trainees: Passed Senior Secondary school Examination or Intermediate
Examination from a recognised board or university with at least 45% marks.
b. For Surveyorship Trainees: Passed Senior Secondary school Examination or Intermediate
Examination from a recognised board or university with at least 45% marks.
3. Age as on 01-09-2014: Minimum: 18 years. Maximum 25 years.
4. Duration of training: For Sirdarship Trainees: 03 years. For Surveyorship Trainees: 02 years.
5. Number of Seats: For Sirdarship Trainees: 125. For Surveyorship Trainees: 25
6. SELECTION PROCEDURE, TRAINING AND GENERAL CONDITIONS:
a. Selection amongst the eligible candidates to be made centrally on the basis of average % of
marks obtained in matriculation and intermediate examinations subject to passing Senior
Secondary school Examination or Intermediate Examination from a recognised board or university
with at least 45% marks.
b. The initial theoretical training to eligible candidates will be imparted at area VTCs for a period of
one month. After completion of initial training the candidates will undergo a test to be conducted at
the area VTCs by HRD Dept. Successful candidates will be allowed to undergo unpaid practical
training in underground mines of BCCL for duration of 3/2 years depending upon their stream.
c. The selected candidates will submit indemnity bond as per rules of the company before
undergoing training. All usual formalities in vogue for training to outside candidates in the
company will be applicable for the above mentioned groups.
d. The training facilities will be imparted by the office of the General Manager (HRD), BCCL.
e. The candidates shall not claim any employment in BCCL on the basis of this training.
f. The candidate shall arrange his own transport, accommodation etc.
g. BCCL shall not in any way and by any means be responsible for any compensation in case the
candidate meets with any accident/injury during his entire training period.
h. The candidate shall neither claim any financial assistance nor shall any financial assistance be
provided to the candidate.
i. The candidate shall neither claim any extension of training nor shall any extension of training be
provided to the candidate.
j. The candidates are required to submit self attested photocopies of educational/technical
qualifications (matriculation and above), and caste certificate along with the application.
Whereas fire affected candidates are required to submit photocopy of JRDA demographic survey
identity card, the project affected people are required to submit address proof duly certified by
the BDO of the concerned block. All candidates are required to produce the original certificates
at the time of interview. They are also required to produce fitness certificate from a doctor having at
least qualification of MBBS for undergoing training in underground mines.
k. The candidates are required to paste one recent passport size colour photograph on the
application form and self-attest it. Two copies of the same photograph duly self-attested are
required to be submitted along with the application form.
l. The candidates are required to sign the declaration in the application form regarding the
genuineness of the information provided by them. Any false information will invite suitable penal
action.
m. The management reserves the right to modify the scheme at any stage.
n. The management reserves the right to accept, reject any or all the applications without assigning
any reason whatsoever.
