Nor 2(3) UHiRep/Estb/2020/ \OYGY ‘November 27, 2020, Notification In light of the Higher Education Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Notification No. SOG/HE/P-Measurement/2020, dated 25" Nov. 2020 and subsequent HEC Policy Guidance Note # 8 with regard to 2" wave of the Corona Virus Pandemic, the following decisions taken by the UOH Administrative Management Committee via online consultation on November 26, 2020, ate hereby notified for the information and compliance by all concerned. 1. The University of Haripur will remain closed for students from 26" November 2020 to 10" January 2021 as per decision of the Government. However, online teaching will continue till further orders. 2. All staff of essential services including Security, Medical (FAC), Laboratory and IT services staff will attend their offices as usual, subject to approval ofthe Registrar. 3, All other employees (faculty, administrative and support staff) will attend their offices @ SO % on rotation basis and the duty roster will be shared with Registrar Office by the concerned Sectional Heads/Chairpersons/HoDs. All employees shall stay on station. Those required will be called on overnight notice for duty. 4, All special, short term lab and work based technical and vocational training courses shall continue. 5. All exams shall be postponed tll further orders except pre-scheduled small exams (with less ‘than 30 students, e.g. Midterm exams of MPhil & PhD Programs) and Viva Voce/Practical examinations of MA/MSe, already notified, shall be conducted, if absolutely necessary. 6. Students who may have connectivity problems at home because of lack of access to the Internet or the availability of proper devices, students of far-flung areas, foreign students, PhD or MPhilfequivalent students or BS final year students who need to use the laboratories to complete their research thesis work, may be allowed to visit the University, suibject to approval of concerned Chairperson/HoD and intimation to Registrar Office. 7. The faculty members may come to campus for delivering or preparing their online lectures, if required, subject to approval of the concemed Chairperson/HoD. 8. All Deans, Chairpersons/HoDs and Sectional Heads shall attend the University and provide lists of the allowed persons as mentioned at serial no-3 above to the Registrar Office and update it from time to time. 9. Transport facility will be available for staff/faculty/researchers as per requirements, duly approved through transport office. 10. Any change in above policy or fresh instructions shall be notified in due course of time by the Registrar Office. " 11, Entrance to the University and working at Campus shall be strictly under the observance of al health and safety protocols of Covid-19 notified by Government and the University of aripur.
