Notes:
The tender report consists of:
1) Title page
2) One-page executive summary
3) Table of contents
4) Report body – no more than 20 pages
5) Appendices (to be submitted as separate file attachments)
6) References
No more than 20 pages. The page count does NOT include title page, one-page executive
summary, table of contents, appendices, and references;
Line spacing: 1.5 line spacing; font size: 12; font type: Times New Roman;
In this assessment task, your team is assuming the role of Project Manager for the tendering
firm;
Your team is to develop a full tender report ready for submission to the Koala City Council with
the aim to win the project tender;
NO changes in the project team composition are allowed for this assessment;
Refer to the grading criteria for further details;
Note report presentation and writing style (i.e. convey information coherently and concisely, in a
quality written format appropriate to the target audience);
Check grammatical and referencing mistakes;
Please remember to attach the relevant appendices when submitting the tender report. A good
practice is to first zip all the files (including the tender report) and then submit the zipped file to
LearnJCU; and
When writing the sections, please do not leave a table, chart, or figure standalone. Doing so
will result in low mark. There should be some description (concise and to the point) specific to
a table, chart, or figure. The same applies when referring to an appendix.
