KASUS UJIAN PRAKTIKUM FATER 1

1. Absen 1-15
Mr. T is 45 years old and has a past medical history a cholecystitis and apendicectomy. On
routine health screen he was found to have the following lipid serum profile: total cholesterol
7,6 mmol/L (<5,2 mmol/L), TG 4,8 mmol/L (< 2,3 mmol/L), and HDL 0,9 mmol/L (>0,9 mmol/L).
He takes no other medication and was prescribed gemfibrozil 600 mg twice a day.

2. Absen 16-30
Mrs A.B a 69 years old woman has been receiving digoxin 0,25 mg and furosemid 80 mg daily for
her heart failure for the past 6 month according to your patient records. She now present the
following prescription to you:
- enalapril 10 mg twice daily
- furosemid 80 mg in the morning
- potassium chloride (slow release) three times daily

3. Absen 31-45
Patient A is a white man, 55 years of age, with diabetes. His HbA1c is 11%, and he suffers from
diabetic retinopathy. Upon presentation, his blood pressure is 147/88 mm Hg, cholesterol is 213
mg/dL, and LDL is 136 mg/dL. His serum creatinine is 1.3 mg/dL. He is 5 foot 10 inches tall, his
weight is 223 pounds, and he suffers from peripheral neuropathy. Patient A reports not having
seen a primary care provider in years and is not on medication. He works at a factory and does
not have health insurance. Patient A is found to have proteinuria on dipstick testing. A 24-hour
urine collection reveals a GFR of 57 mL/min/1.73 m2.

4. Absen 45-dst
Mr.T is a patient with CRF. On routine examination he is found to have a serum phosphate
concentration 2,1 mmol/L (0,9-1,5 mmol/L) and a serum calcium contration of 2,01 mmol/L
(2,20-2,55 mmol/L). On investigation he admits to aches in his thigh on walking, and
radiographic examination suggest a slight reduction in bone density.
