1. All the connected appeals arise from judgments/orders of the Hon’ble National Green Tribunal and pertain to the
issue of utilization and disposal of the fly-ash by the Thermal Power Plants. The details of each case with reference to
the impugned order, issue involved, interim order granted by this Hon’ble Court and the important/relevant pending
applications is provided in the enclosed table.
2. For the ready reference of this Hon’ble Court, the appeals can broadly be categorized under the following heads with
reference to the orders/judgment impugned therein:

These appeals impugn or are connected to the order
dated 24.10.2019 passed by the NGT in O.A. No. 834/2018.
The matter at Sl. No. 23 arises from an order which is
based on the order impugned in the appeal at Sl. No. 1.
These appeals arise from the impugned order dated
12.02.2020 passed by the NGT in O.A. Nos. 102/2014 and
other connected matters and directed, inter-alia,
compliance with MoEF’s notifications dated 27.01.2016
and further directed payment of compensation by non-
compliant Thermal Power Plants.
This appeal arises from an order dated 28.09.2020 passed
by the NGT in R.A. No. 27/2020 in O.A. No. 102/2014. By
the impugned order, the NGT dismissed a Review
Application seeking review of the order dated 12.02.2020
(supra).
