Movie “A sun is also a star” is a movie based on a bestselling novel, with the same
name, by nicola yoon. The movie stars Yara Shahidi as Natasha kingsley and Charles
Melton as Daniel Bae who falling in love in New york city. This Movie released on 17 Mei
2019.

This movie is about a young man and woman who fall in love, their family is an
immigrant. They come with their own family problem. Natasha comes from a jamaican
family. she is a girl who just believe in facts and science, she doesn’t believe with love and a
dream that will never be come true. Natasha’s family faces deportation, and have to leave
tomorow. She is struggling to stay in new york, and try to find a way to stay. In the other
hand, Daniel comes from a korean family. Daniel has always been a good son, a good
student, and follow their parents’s expectation. His parents wanted him to become a doctor,
and he is on his way to apply for a prestigious school.

Natasha and Daniel always face the same situation in that day. Natasha believes that
their meeting such as a coincidence, but Daniel is convincing her that their meeting is a
destiny. He told natasha that he will make her fall in love with him in just one day. With the
different backround, identity and tribe, their make their own romantic love story in a day.
They reinforce each other with their own problem in that day”because “Sometimes all we
have is a single day.”

This movie has a usual romantic love story, but, what are make this story different
from the others are, this movie tells about an immigrant couple from different country, who
fall in love in New york. There is a lot of moral value that we can take from this movie, like
“Sometimes you can’t control everything, maybe just being open to fact”. This movie’s easy
to follow and has a good story line. At the end, this movie is recommended the one who
loves romantic love story.
