● For the output of the fixed-size user pattern, the character size and the page number have to be
specified. When “1” is specified for the page number, the user pattern of the 1st page of the
registration keyboard will be output.
● Registration numbers of the keyboard are set respectively to:

the 4 page:111 ~ 147; the 5th page:148 ~ 184; the 6th page:185 ~ 199.
th

● When the 1st page through the 5th page is specified, 37 patterns will be output. When the 6th page is
specified, 15 patterns will be output.
● Data of the user patterns will be output in the same configuration as those of the user registration
character transmission. Therefore, if 03H is output, it may NOT be ETX code but the pattern data.
Even if 03H is received at receiving side, it is necessary to receive the entire size of text transmission.
The text size can be calculated from the “pattern data” as shown below.

(21) User pattern (Fixed-size)
● For the output of the fixed-size user pattern, the character size and the page number have to be
specified. When “1” is specified for the page number, the user pattern(s) of the 1st page of the
registration keyboard will be output.
● Registration numbers of the keyboard are set respectively to:
the 1st page:0 ~ 44; the 2nd page:45 ~ 89; the 3rd page:90 ~ 127;
the 4 page:128 ~ 172; the 5th page:173 ~ 199.
th

● When the 1st page, 2nd page or the 4th page is specified, 45 patterns will be output. When the 3rd page
or the 5th page is specified, 38 patterns or 27 patterns will be output respectively.
● Data of the user patterns will be output in the same configuration as those of the user registration
character transmission. Therefore, if 03H is output, it may NOT be ETX code but the pattern data.
Even if 03H is received at receiving side, it is necessary to receive the entire transmission text size.
The text size can be calculated from the “pattern data” as shown below.
