NARRATIVE REPORT ON FACE-TO-FACE SIMULATION

S.Y. 2021-2022

In compliance with DepEd Order No. 071 series of 2021, each school that had
passed the School Safety Assessment Tool shall conduct a simulation on limited face-to-face
classes, with these, Pres. Jose P. Laurel National High School is one of the schools that
participate in the nationwide simulation on May 16, 2022, in the school’s DPWH Building.

To establish a safe school learning environment before the day of the simulation,
the School Head, Reynaldo G. Leonen conducted a faculty meeting. He explained to the teachers
the flow and the process of the simulation as well as the assigned area for the teachers. He also
clarified that the simulation will be a preparation for the incoming face-to-face classes. Then, the
School Head facilitated an orientation for the parents about the simulation. During the meeting,
he discussed the number of participants in the drill is 12 students from barangay Sulpoc as well
as the requirements, the uniform, the schedule, snacks, and the activity during the simulation on
limited face-to-face classes.

During the simulation on May 16, 2022, the students were patiently waiting
outside the gate while the security guard monitored and lead them to the temperature scanner and
handwash area then they went to fill out the health assessment form in the Alumni hall then
proceeded to DPWH Building, scanned their temperature then entered in their classroom. The
principal welcomed and congratulated the participants in the simulation activity. He said that this
will be a preparation for the incoming face-to-face classes. After that the adviser orient the
students about the school’s safety protocol during and after classes.

Part of the drill is the school’s readiness if there is an unwell student. The assigned
teacher checked the students’ illness, then reported it to the adviser then the adviser
communicated by any means like calls, text, and chat with the parents to report that their child
was not feeling well.

The unwell student was guided to Clinic while waiting for the guardian to arrive.
The clinic teacher wearing monitored the temperature and the health condition of the student.
Upon arrival, the parents filled out the pass slip before going home from school.

After class, the students went to Sulpoc Elementary gate as an exit

By adhering to the Minimum Public Health Standards, the school can assure continuous
safety and learning of every teacher and student despite the new Normal, the school’s mission
will continue to provide a quality education and skills that can be brought wherever they went in the
outside world of the school.
