• English Language: The questions in this section will test one’s proficiency in the language, based on
comprehension passages, fundamentals of grammar, and vocabulary. In the Comprehension section, candidates
will be evaluated on their understanding of a passage and its central theme, meanings of words used therein, etc.
The Grammar section entails correcting grammatically incorrect sentences, filling blanks in sentences with
appropriate words, etc. Questions on synonyms & antonyms will check one’s command over English vocabulary
.
• Numerical Ability: Questions on Numerical Ability will test the candidate’s knowledge of elementary
mathematics. Areas like arithmetic, number system, basics of algebra, and modern maths will be central to these
types of questions.
• Logical & Analytical Reasoning: This section tests the candidate's ability to identify patterns & logical links,
and rectify illogical arguments. It can include a variety of Logical Reasoning questions, such as those on
syllogisms, logical sequences, analogies, etc., along with Analytical Reasoning questions on series, directions,
clocks & calendars, arrangements, and puzzles to name a few.
• General Awareness and Current Affairs: The General Awareness section includes static general knowledge,
while questions on Current Affairs will gauge a candidate’s knowledge of national & international current
affairs.
