Cristina Andres is the supervisor of a department in a small precision tool manufacturing company.
Four operators, mostly men, except for Ching, who is five months pregnant, operate the machinery at

1.Do a job analysis. - The most important step in the recruitment process is to conduct a thorough
job analysis so that you know what you are hiring for. This will assist you in identifying the
competencies required for a successful candidate to thrive and perform well in the position.
2.Know where to post. - Knowing where to look for the best people is essential. Determine how
much money you have to spend on job advertisements and plan where to post your job opening
strategically. Don't overlook the importance of social media and your website's careers page.
3. Screen like a pro - A large number of applicants can be attracted to many job openings. If you
don't have time to screen them all, add an extra step to screen out applicants who may have missed
critical information requested in the job posting.
