Promote the welfare of the teachers and staffs Seation 2, Foster harmonious relationship/ healthy environment among teachers and staffs, Section 3. Help promote the development of a free and efficient work force with common interest and with reasonable degree of condition. Section 4, Cultivate unity and cooperation among the members toward the attainment ofits objectives. Section 5. Assist the members inthe times of disasters. Article IV. MEMBERSHIP Section 1. EXECUTIVE BOARD Section 1. Elective Officers of the club shall constitute the executive Board Section 2. It shall be the policy-making body of the club Article VIII. ELECTION Section 1. The members of the executive board shall be elected by a closed ballot by the ‘members in a| meeting called for the purpose. Section 2. The officers shall take office immediately after the confirmation of theit election Section 3. No officers shall serve for more than two consecutive terms in the same post. One term is equivalent to 2 years. Section 4. In the event of disqualification, transfer or resignation of an officer, the association may elect successor who shall serve the unexpired term. Article VIX. MEETING Section 1. Regular meeting of the board shall be held every last Monday of the month. Section 2. Special meeting of the board shall be called anytime as the need arises. Section3. Meeting with the members maybe called by the president provided that the notice ofthe ‘meeting has been given to the members atleast one day prior to the meeting, Article X. VOTING ‘Section 1. Each member is entitled to cast a vote. Section 2. There shall be no voting proxy. Section 3. When a vote is taken on any matter at a meeting, a quorum being present, a majority of the ‘votes of the members present shall determine the outcome Section 4, The result ofthe vote taken shall be reported to the members within seven days of the deadline ‘and shall be recorded in the minutes of the next meeting, Article XI QUORUM Section 1. There shall be a revolving fund for the association in the amount of P 100.00, Section 2: These fund shall be used solely for operationagla expenses of the Association. Section 3: The amount shall be collected during the time of assumption of duty by the new set of officers. Article XII AMENDMENTS ‘This constitution and Bylaws may be amended by the following procedure: Section 1. Any voting member of the Faculty Association may submit a written amendment ‘proposal to the President. The proposal must clearly show the intended addition, deletion and /or changes, as well as descriptive rationale and some illustrative example of its potential effects. Section 2. At the next regular or special Faculty Association meeting, the amendment shall be ‘considered for ratification. Section 3. The amendment is ratified by a favorable vote of at least two-thirds (2/3) vote of the ‘members present. A le XIV. MUTUAL BENEFIT SYSTEM Section 1. There shall be a mutual aid system created. ‘Section2. A special committee shall be created by the board to formulate and implement the ‘mutual aid system, Section 3. Each member shall be asked to contribute a monthly fee (50.00) for Mutual Benefit System. This Mutual Benefit system is intended as an assistance in times cof medical emergency exclusive for teachers and staff and immediate family members Article XV. TRANSITORY PROVISION Section 1. The constitution shall take effect immediately after the adoption and approval by the majority of the members present in the meeting called for the purpose. Section 2. The incumbent officers prior to the adoption of this constitution shall continuc to hold office until a new set of officers or successors shall have been duly elected.
