c) write the numerals 0 to 110 in sequence and out-of-sequence;
d) count forward orally by ones, twos, fives, and tens to determine
the total number of objects to 110.

In this activity, my students are going to use ABCYA PAINT, to create interactive curriculum

grade level guided work activities reinforcing lessons taught in math class. ABCYA provides
students and parents a user friendly safe interactive variety of curriculum support
“activities” to provide practice and learning experiences.

Activities of I will craft a 20-minute lesson with the entire class ordering numbers to 100.
Lesson Plan:
Using the number lines posted on the front white board we will count together
as a total class. Conversation and discovery will be how the numbers are building
higher, but actually repeat 1,2,3, 4, etc, with only a different number in the 10-
place value.

Reinforcement and practice as a total class: The students will then be given a
chart to fill in counting up to 100. Some of the blank boxes will have numbers in
them to guide the students. I will walk around and monitor their work.

Seat work will be: Students will have a choice of 3 web activities to practice
counting to 100. Sites are listed below.

Homework assignment to reinforce lesson and provide communication to


parents.

1. Total class lesson 20 minutes. All student participation.

2. 10-minute total class lesson practice and reinforcement. Teacher


monitoring any needed reteach or small group intervention.

3. Student activities at seat with choice of 3 web online tools practicing and
recognizing the order of numbers to 100. Web sites listed below.

4. Teacher intervention of one on one or small group of todays crafted


lesson.

5. Homework assignment: a) blank worksheet of counting to 100. b) or


students can access online web pages worked on in class.
Links are provided and sent home for parents/guardians viewing and
approval.
