Abraham Lincoln sent a letter to his son’s teacher, the request of it will change

your mindset of the president!

H.E. Abraham Lincoln, the 16th US president, wrote a letter to his son’s teacher. His son is
starting school so it was a new and huge start for his son, and like any parents, the president
gave some background information about his son.
The president wrote a valued letter filled with morals that he wants his son to be taught. Most
people may think that the president was bribing or seeking for extra attention to his son, but it
seems as the opposite.
In this letter, Abraham Lincoln wrote to his son's teacher, on the values that he would like his
son to learn. He wants his son to learn that all men are not bad; he also wants his teacher to
teach him that for every bad person there is a good person available in the world. The letter
also tells the teacher to make his son believe in himself no matter what others say, and to have
great and noble faith in himself so he can have faith in mankind. Teach him to be gentle with
gentle people and tough with tough people. Teach him to stay away from jealousy and to enjoy
quiet laughter. He requests the teacher to teach him that bullies accept defeat quickly. Let him
have the courage to be patient and to be brave.
“I was quite surprised to see a letter signed by the president on my desk when I entered the
classroom! I had reports that his son would be joining my class on that day, so I thought that it
was probably a bribe to make the president’s son feel more special, but what I found out after
reading shocked me even more. Abraham Lincoln gained all my respect for him, a rich and
powerful politician, the president asked to teach his son the best values there is.” Receiver of
the president’s letter, Mrs. Mores, a nursery teacher.
We hope to see H.E. Abraham Lincoln’s son to grow up and become a man with values like his
father.
