About the Role - Teaching Assistant (Data Science Track)

Obsession to serve our learners - Our focus is to ensure our learners understand the
concepts and applications in depth. To achieve this you would be required to help them by

1. Resolving their Problem Help Requests (resolving doubts via chat)

2. Resolving their Concept Requests (involves getting on a call with them)
3. Conducting Group Help sessions with multiple students who have the same doubts
4. Motivating learners to solve more assignments and ask more doubts if they are
having difficulty in solving questions
5. Engaging on Scaler Chat for problem discussions and doubt resolutions.
6. Being available from Monday to Friday (flexible weekend schedule).
7. TA’s are expected to work 2-3 hours per day.

Expected Monthly Income

On average, our TAs earn more than 30,000 Rs. per month. That said, there is really no limit
to the amount you can earn.
Our top performing TAs consistently earn upwards of 3.5 Lakhs Rs per month *

* Payment is based on your performance - number of requests you handle, and the time in
which you handle them. Details will be shared with you in a separate document.
Technical Requirements
1. Strong foundation in Mathematics, including topics such as Statistics, Probability,
Linear Algebra, and basic Calculus.
2. Hands-on experience in Python and Data Science.
3. Strong background in Machine Learning and Deep Learning including topics such as
Linear/Logistic Regression, Clustering, Ensembling, Neural Networks, Computer
Vision, NLP, Reinforcement Learning, etc
4. Extensive experience in solving challenges on Kaggle.
5. Good communication skills to resolve any doubts in these topics.
6. Strong problem solving skills.
