SKILL BASED: EXTENSIVE READING

SOP MID TEST: 20%

1. The mid test for Extensive Reading course is a take home book report writing.

2. This is an individual test which will be done asynchronously.

3. The students are informed about the examination and given the soft file of the book report sheet

2 days before the scheduled test date.

4. Each student MUST ACCESS https://xreading.com/ independently to CHOOSE ONE of the

following stories (detail is available on the next section) and READ it.

• The first story is entitled “Mystery on the Island”.

• The second story is entitled “Go Jimmy Go!”.

• The third story is entitled “The Shipwreck”.

5. Each student MUST write a book report in 250-350 words covering OVERVIEW OF THE

BOOK, STORY SUMMARY, and PERSONAL RESPONSES.

6. The report MUST be typed in the provided template.

7. The report should be ORIGINAL. The soft file will be checked using Turnitin. The plagiarism

tolerance by Turnitin is 30%. The report which exceeds 30% will FAIL and receive 0 SCORE.

There will be NO second chance of submission.

8. The report file must be NAMED using the following format:

Student’s Name_NIM_Class (e.g. Kiana Ramadhani_20210909090_PBA_A)

9. Each student MUST submit the report in MyKlass on the test date. Late submission will NOT

be TOLERATED.
