May 1: Labor Day/May Day Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is a public holiday in
the United States marked by the anniversary of the
birth of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. It is
celebrated on the third Monday in January each year,
which is approximately the date of his birth. King,
January 15, 1929.
July 19: Revolution Day (or Celebrates the arrival of
Sandinista rebels in Managua after overthrowing
Nicaraguan dictator Somoza. It has become mostly a
political celebration for the FSLN (Sandinista political Memorial Day, also Remembrance Day or Memorial
party). Day, is a federal commemorative date that takes place
in the United States of America on the last Monday of
May of each year.
