Purpose: This guide pretends to give you some grammar and vocabulary practice related to
units 13, 14, 15 and 16 to get prepared for the second partial evaluation (listening, grammar
and oral) we are going to have next week during the class. It was designed to cover two hours
of extra class work.

 Do each one of the activities included in this guide and send the answers and images
required.

 You have to use the class book, your class notes and the links provided. You may also
use any other links you may consider helpful, to remember, study and reinforce what
we studied in class.

1. Oral practice. Contact the partner the professor assigned and do the following exercises
from the book. Use your own information. Turn on your camera. Take advantage of the
time and help each other correct pronunciation, grammar structure, and intonation or
vocabulary mistakes. Try to give feedback to your partner. Take a screenshot and send it
as evidence of your meeting.

A. Practice the conversation on page 98, do exercises 3 and 4.

B. Practice asking and answering questions. Do exercise 3 on page 99
C. Take turns asking and answering the questions on page 101, exercise 3.
D. Take turns sharing annoying news. Do exercise 4 on page 102.
E. Take turns answering the questions on page 103, exercise 4.
