In reference to the Division Memorandum, No. 257 s. 2020, titled ADOPTION OF THE
BASIC EDUCATION LEARNING CONTINUITY PLAN FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR 2021-
2022 IN LIGHT OF THE COVID-19 PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCY and to ensure
adoption and implementation of the detailed activities laid down in the LCP, we will conduct
an orientation for the S.Y. 2021-2022 on August 10, 2021 at 8:00 o'clock in the morning.
3. Participants of this orientation are the ten (10) teachers and school principal of Felisa
Villoria Bond Memorial School.
4. Mrs. Ana Fe Eden P. Sinajon is tasked for the documentation and will take charge of the
Narrative Report with picture.
Every year, this DepEd no.012. s.2020 , will be held as a refresher for all
teachers in their yearly responsibilities, particularly in protecting the health, safety,
and well-being of learners, teachers, and personnel and preventing the further
transmission of COVID-19.
At precisely 8:00 am, Mrs. Cecelia P. Torres led a prayer to begin the
orientation. The attendance check that follows. Felisa Villoria Bond Memorial
School's principal, Dr. Socorro O. Pegalann II, responded to this DepEd order
instruction by extensively describing the evaluation standards and the whole ruling.
Dr. Pegalan spoke about and clarified that The Learning Continuity Plan's
justification will aid in activating the internal as well as external stakeholders
components of the delivery plan and the operational guidance that ensures the
safety, health, and health of the learners.
Ms. Gemma C. Larobes, a master teacher at the school was assigned to
discuss what are the Principles adopted behind the current Basic Education Learning
Continuity Plan. Protecting the health and safety of students, teachers, and
personnel was listed as the top priority. The second principle ensures learning
continuity by: Doing curricular adjustments, Alignment of learning materials,
Deployment of multiple learning modalities and Training of teachers, leaders &
parents. The third principle is to facilitate the safe return of teaching and
non-teaching personnel in workplaces and Be sensitive to equity considerations and
concerns and endeavour to address them best that we can.
Detailed Discussion of the Most Essential Learning Competencies (MELC)
and Detailed Discussion of the Learning Modalities were also covered by Mrs. Ana
Fe Eden P. Sinajon. It was mentioned in this topic that the BE-LCP would be
adopted as the overall framework for the S.Y. 2020–2021, barring repeal,
modification, or revocation. She also spoke about the DepEd directive establishing
the Learning Resource and Platforms Committee, which will guarantee that the
required platforms or technologies would be accessible come September 2021, the
start of classes for this school year.
The school head and all the personnel took part in an open forum where
they were free to share their knowledge of the agendas that had been discussed
and ask questions.
The principal of the school answered each of the teacher’s questions in-depth.
The orientation was then over, and it was hoped that the person who
had been the subject of it had a clear knowledge of the things that had been
discussed and decided.
