1. 1. Please be informed that there will be an orientation ON INTERIM GUIDELINES FOR


ASSESSMENT AND GRADING IN LIGHT OF THE BASIC EDUCATION CONTINUITY PLAN
on August 11, 2021. It will start on official time at 8:00 o’clock in the morning.

2. The policy is grounded in the following principles:

a. Assessment should be holistic and authentic in capturing the attainment of the most essential
learning competencies ;
b. Assessment is integral for understanding student learning and development;
c. A variety of assessment strategies is necessary , with promote growth and mastery;
d. Assessment and feedback should be a shared responsibility among teachers, learners, and their
families; and
e. Assessment and grading should have a positive impact on learning.

3. Participants of this orientation are the ten (10) teachers and school principal of Felisa Villoria Bond
Memorial School.

4. Mrs. Ana Fe Eden P. Sinajon is tasked for the documentation and will take charge of the
Narrative Report with picture.

NARRATIVE REPORT ON THE CONDUCT ORIENTATION ON INTERIM


GUIDELINES FOR ASSESSMENT AND GRADING IN LIGHT OF
THE BASIC EDUCATION CONTINUITY PLAN.

Every year, this DepEd order will be held as a refresher for all teachers
in their yearly task, particularly in the working of assessment, including limitations
on giving immediate feedback, and the need to account for different contexts in
designing, implementing, and grading assessment tasks.
Mrs. Cecelia P. Torres conducted a prayer to kick off the orientation at
precisely 8:00 in the morning, the attendance check that comes after. Dr. Socorro
O. Pegalann II, the principal of Felisa Villoria Bond Memorial School, responded to
this DepEd order by thoroughly discussing the evaluation guidelines and the entirety
of the ruling.
Ms. Gemma C. Larobes, a master teacher at the school, shared her
insight on this. We decided that the school heads would monitor and assess the
policy's execution at least once every three months. The obstacles and problems
encountered during the implementation of the policy must be detailed in a quarterly
report written by the school heads.
All of the teachers and the school head participated in an open forum
where they were free to ask questions and share their knowledge of the agendas
that had been discussed.
The school principal provided thorough responses to the several queries
that the instructors had.
The orientation was then concluded with the hope that the concerned
person, who had been the subject of this orientation, had a thorough understanding
of the issues discussed and agreed upon.
