Lesson Introduction [Timing: 5 Mins]
Ask students about the differences between a scalar quantity and vector quantity that
they have learnt in physic and then slowly relate the meaning of a scalar in mathematic
terms to make connection to the topic.
Lesson Development [Timing: 20 Mins]
Teacher will explain on how to multiply any given matrix by any given scalar on the
board by giving few examples on the board.

Teacher will also discuss and solve example 1 on the board involving student’s
participation.

Let students to solve question 1 (b & d) only from PA individually and then show their
solution firstly to their shoulder partner and finally to the teacher for correction. (Rally
table)
