Lesson Introduction [Timing: 5 Mins]
Recapitulate the lesson learnt in previous class by asking question to check their
understanding.
Lesson Development [Timing: 20 Mins]
* Teacher will discuss and explain about the application of linear functions.
An equation of a linear relation in slope and y-intercept form can be rewritten
easily in function notation.

isolate one variable in terms of the other. The resulting equation expresses the
isolated variable as a function of the other variable.
(Tr. Will also solve and explain examples 1 & 2 given in the textbook.)
Student Activity [Timing: 10 Mins]
Let students to solve question 1 from PA individually and then ask them to show their
solution. (Rally Robin)

Monitoring/ Follow-up Activity [Timing: 10 Mins]

Observe student’s solving by moving around the class and provide necessary support/
feedback if needed and correct student’s solution.
Lesson Closure [Timing: 5 Mins]
Recapitulate the lesson by asking few questions to check their understanding.
Assign question 2 from PA as a homework.
