CIRCULAR/RBMHS/February/2020-21/10 04 February 2021

Teaching is so very human in essence. Human connection is hard to replicate online. The best teaching is
face to face, say experts. But under the very trying circumstances that we have been through during the
COVID-19 pandemic the schools have adopted and adapted to Blended learning – a mix of digital and face-
to-face teaching. Now with the announcement for reopening of schools by the Government of Rajasthan,
we need to put a few COVID-19 protocols in place to ensure the safety of our students and staff. The return
to school will be welcome and exciting for many students, but others will be feeling anxious or frightened.
As per the orders from the Government of Rajasthan (dated 01-February-2021) the children of classes VI
and above return to school following all COVID-19 protocols. Kindly note physical distancing and a
minimization of direct contact between pupils will be encouraged in the school. Classroom layouts will be
adapted. Windows will be kept open where possible, and any unnecessary furniture removed to optimise
space. The School will ensure that pupils clean/ sanitize their hands more often than usual, including when
they arrive, when they return from breaks, and before and after eating.
Assemblies, cultural and Sports activities are banned. Students will be grouped into "bubbles" (either in
classes or year groups) and these students will have their lessons, breaks and lunchtimes together. So only
50% attendance will be there on each day. Detail plans will be shared on class groups very soon.
Break times will be staggered, with each bubble needing to stay apart from other children as much as possible.
The School will also stagger start times for pupils and ensure that they don't coincide with rush hour. Parents
are requested not to congregate by the school gates. The school will always ensure adequate ventilation and
increase total airflow supply to occupied spaces. Our target will always be to provide clean, natural
ventilation (i.e., opening windows) inside the school building
Dear Parents,
Here’s what you can do to support your children with the complicated emotions they may be experiencing
and ease them into the new normal at school –

• First of all, kindly provide a written consent for your ward if you wish to send them to school. Please
download the Consent/declaration form and send it with your ward on the 8 th of February 2021. MS
form link is being shared with you to know your decision so that necessary arrangements can be made
depending on the number of students willing to attend physical classes.

• Starting school or starting a new school year can be stressful at the best of times, let alone during a
global pandemic. Children may feel nervous or reluctant to return to school, especially if they have
been learning at home for months. Have an open conversation with your child about what’s
worrying them and let them know that it’s completely normal to feel anxious.
• Talk to them calmly about some of the changes they may expect at school, such as needing to wear
masks and keep a distance from their friends and teachers. Reassure them that these safety measures
are in place to keep students and teachers healthy.
• Teach and model good hygiene practices for your children.
One of the best ways to keep safe from COVID-19 and other diseases is to simply encourage regular
handwashing with soap or with a sanitizer. At school children will see new hand sanitizing stations and
signs near their classrooms. They should clean their hands regularly and remind their friends to do the
same.
• Encourage your ward to wear full-sleeved clothes to minimize the interaction with any public
surface.
• You can also show children how to cover a cough or a sneeze with their elbow.
• Please ensure that your ward comes to school in Clean and sanitized uniform.
• Every student is expected to maintain personal hygiene by bathing, brushing and trimming of nails.
• Kindly pack nutritious home cooked food and clean water in the lunch box. Sharing of food and water
is not permitted in school when we are strictly following precautions to keep safe from
Covid -19. The School Canteen will NOT be operational.
• Kindly arrange to drop and pick your ward from school. OR even a carpool can be arranged by
families. In such a scenario the group should not change. Maintain the ‘Bio Bubble ‘.
• It is advisable that parents/guardians download the AAROGYASETU APP and let their ward
commute only when the App shows safe and low-risk status.
• Monitor your child’s health and keep them home from school if they are ill. If there is any exposure
to the Covid -19 virus. Kindly report the matter and stay at home and self-isolate.
• Those students who wish to continue with only online classes may connect to the classroom teaching
via Microsoft Teams.
• Coordinate with the school to receive information and ask how you can support school safety efforts.
We will continuously monitor the situation and based on what is learnt from this monitoring, further
modifications would be made to provide all our children and staff with the safest environment
possible.
