Cable Info. ID verification Detects ID classification about the cable/wire,
including C48, C52, C68, C91, C100, E75,C89,C94.
Original Function Detects if the cable/wire has ESD feature.
Certified IC Checks the certified IC’s category, which is divided
into four groups: Original ASIC, high quality copied
Taiwanese ASIC, good quality copied ASIC, and
low quality copied MCU.
Power IC Checks the IC Power’s category, which is divided
into five groups: Original PMU, high quality copied
Taiwanese PMU, good quality copied PMU, low
quality copied MOS, and NG.
Production Information Load cable’s serial number, ASN/MSN production
code, wire’s X-ray carving code, wire’s and cable’s
production firm and production date, brand name,
production code and production description.
Adaptor Info. Type Checks the adaptor’s type for PD or QC2.0.
Maximum Power Detects the maximum voltage and current
performed by PD adaptors and automatically
converts to watt in display.
Serial-number Reader Detects and shows ID serial-number, vendor
/brand name, firmware or hardware version of the
PD adaptor by decoding
QC2.0 Test Detects the output voltage of the QC2.0 adaptor.
PD Test Detects the output voltage of PD adaptor.
Temperature Detects the working temperature of MF001.
Voltage Detects the output voltage and current from the

5-2. Cable Info. : Score Interpretation
01 - The certified ICs is divided into four categories: Original ASIC, High-quality
Taiwanese copied ASIC, Good-quality copied ASIC, Low-quality copied MCU.
Followings are the rating criteria.
Original ASIC, full score and minus 0 point,
High-quality copied Taiwanese ASIC, minus 2 points,
Good-quality copied ASIC, minus 4 points,
Low-quality copied MCU, minus 7 points.
02 - The power management unit (PMU) ICs have five categories: Original PMU,
High-quality Taiwanese PMU, Good-quality copied PMU, Low-quality copied
MOS, NG. Followings are the rating criteria.
Original PMU, full score and minus 0 point,
High-quality Taiwanese PMU, minus 1 point,
Good-quality copied PMU, minus 2 points,
Low-quality copied MOS, minus 4 points,
NG, minus 5 points.
03 - If the system has ESD features to protect USB transmitting lines, plus 1 point.
8
(3) Example for score calculation: original cable-100 points
01 - Check the certified IC, power IC and ESD. The picture below shows the system owns original ASIC,
original PMU and ESD feature.
02 - View (2) score calculation table, the column intersects by original ASIC and original PMU
scores 99, and plus 1 point for ESD feature, which results in 100 points.
