I. Introduction

The POWER-Z MF001 has the following functions and capabilities to test Lightning/USB-C
charging cables and regular/fast charging QC 2.0 and USB-PD adaptors.

1. It can show the embedded information of Lightning connector modules, i.e.

Manufacture Serial Number (MSN), Accessory Serial Number (ASN),
Identification Number (ID), … , etc.
2. It can show the ICs used in the connector modules (Original/Taiwan/Fair/Poor
copies), the corresponding functional capabilities of these ICs, and the aggregated
performance scores of these ICs.
3. It can show the embedded information following the USB-PD regulation and
protocols, which indicates the name brand of the adaptors (Apple, Samsung, or Mi?)
and the corresponding function of the adaptor (QC 2.0 or USB-PD).
4. It can show the simultaneous charging voltage/current diagram versus time, and
their corresponding protocol. To be used as a charging protocol analyzer.
5. It can synchronize with Personal Computer (PC) to analyze the further details
information that cannot be shown on the limited screen size of the MF001.
6. POWER-Z technical supporting website provides the latest version of software,
that can be download to upgrade your MF001 and to use as testing tool of MF001.
7. It supports diverse socket connection, with 2 lightening sockets, 2 Type-C sockets
and 1 Type-A socket.
8. The MF001 is small in size to fit in hands, and high performance in computation to
provide precise out-put results.
9. The lithium battery’s capacity is about 1020mAh, and offers 3.7V. The system
includes power saving mode, which makes MF001’s stand-by time as long as 6
hours.
10. Providing Chinese and English user interface, the system is more suitable for
multiple customers.
