Originally slave race in Elemental plane of Air.
Freed by you hit or not.
powerful Djinn (Not forgotten realms Djinn so not the same
culture/society/alignment)
Alagen followed Djinn to prime material plane where they
now voluntarily work for Djinn in his library (which he
dislikes because "Bruh I literally just freed y'all go annoy
some Tabaxi or something" but they're stubborn so they
refuse to leave without "repaying their debt")
Now multiple generations later Alagen are considered
native to Prime material plane and while many travel the
world there's still a lot that call Library home.
Avi protect library from outside, Chiro maintain Library
inside.
Alagen Names
Names are mostly unisex with notible style difference
between Avi and Chiro.

Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity score is increased
by 2.
Age. Alagen reach maturity at 3 years old. While Avi rarely
grow older than 40 years, Chiro have been known to reach
60 years.
Alignment. Neutral?
Size. Alagen are about 5 feet tall. They have thin,
lightweight bodies that weigh between 80 and 100 pounds.
Your size is Medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Flight. You have a flying speed of 30 feet. To use this speed,
you can’t be wearing medium or heavy armor.
Keen Senses. You have proficiency in the Perception skill.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and
Auran.
Subrace. bla bla bla, 2 subraces, Avi and Chiro bla bla.

Ability Score Increase. Your Constitution score is increased
by 1.
Thick Feathers. Your thick plumage protects you from the
harsh winds of your home, You have advantage on
Constitution saving throws to resist exhaustion due to
extreme cold.
Talons. Your Talons are natural melee weapons, which you
can use to make unarmed strikes. If you hit with them, you
deal slashing damage damage equal to 1d6 + your Strength
modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an
unarmed strike.
Swoop. Masters of aerial combat, When you make a melee
attack against a creature, you don't provoke opportunity
attacks from that creature for the rest of the turn, whether
Chiro
Ability Score Increase. Your Intelligence score is increased
by 1.
Reflex Glide. An instinct born from generations of
roosting in the manner akin to bats. You can slow your rate of
descent to 20 feet per round as long as you are not restrained,
paralyzed, petrified, or wearing heavy armor. While falling in
this way you take no falling damage and can land on your
feet.
Blindsight. Your excellent hearing enables you to see
beyond sight, as long as you are not deafened you have
blindsight up to 10 feet.
Darkvision. Despite popular belief you have superior
vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light
within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness
as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness,
only shades of gray.
