HALF-ONI
These ferocious folk will surely instill fear into any people they cross
paths with, But those scowling tusks and horns might be hiding a
heart of gold - if you can look past the cannibalism.
Half-Oni can have a single or multiple horns and have naturally
wild hair. They have six fingers on each hand and six toes on each
foot, and some have even been known to have a third cye. Most Oni
have red or blue skin, with green, black, yellow, and white Oni being
possible but not as common.
The Oni are predominantly male, causing them to seek out
alternative mates when female Oni are hard to find, thus tuming to
female humans. This quality extends to the Half-Oni as well, in a
roughly 70/30 split.
Half-Oni are quite the boisterous people, reveling in dancing,
music, drink, and food. They have massive appetites. They are also
very fond of treasures. This sometimes resorts in them swallowing
items they are fond of to protect them, only to regurgitate them later.
m You have the following racial traits.
Creature Type. You are a Giant. You are also considered a
Humanoid for any prerequisite that requires you to be a Humanoid.
Age. Half-Oni mature at the same rate as humans but live a few
years longer.
Size. Oni are between 6 and 7 feet tall and weigh between 200 and
280 pounds. You are Medium.
Speed. Your walking speed is 30 feet.
Consume. When a humanoid dics within 5 fect of you while you
are missing hit dice, you can consume them using your reaction.
Consuming a humanoid in this way restores | hit dic.
Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it
were bright light and in darkness as if it were dim light. You discern
colors in that darkness only as shades of gray.
Fierce Nature. You have proficiency in the Athletics and
Intimidation skills.
Kanabd Training. You have proficiency with glaives.
Powerful Presence. You know the Thaumaturgy cantrip. Charisma
is your spellcasting modifier for it.
Regeneration. As a bonus action, you can spend one of your hit
dice. You roll the hit die and add your Constitution modifier to it,
You regain hit points equal to the total.
You can do this a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus,
and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and Giant.
