The Ministry of Finance and Planning in collaboration with institutions responsible for oversight of the Public Procurement Sector namely, Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA), Public Procurement Appeals Authority (PPAA), Procurement and Supplies Professionals and Technicians Board (PSPTB) and the Government Procurement Services Agency (GPSA), are organizing the 1° Public Procurement Week, which is expected to be held from 5" to 7" May, 2022 at Arusha International Conference Center. The Guest of Honour will be the Prime Minister of the United Republic of Tanzania, Hon. Kassimu Majaliwa Majaliwa (MP). 3. The event, with the Theme “Embracing Modern Technology for Improving Public Procurement Sector’, is intended for all public procurement stakeholders including Board members, Accounting Officers/Delegated Account Officers of public institutions, Tender Board Members, Procurement and Supplies Professionals from Public and Private Sector, Legal Officers, Internal Auditors and Heads of User Departments. The forum is also intended for Bidders (Contractors, Suppliers and Consultants), Civil Society Organizations, as well as Students from Higher Learning Institutions pursuing various Procurement Courses. 4. Participants will be required to pay a participation fee of TZS. 500,000/-, which will cover costs of workshop materials, certificates, conference, meals and refreshments during the workshop.
