OBJECTIVE
To work in a professional and competent atmosphere that enables me to come up with
emerging trends and technologies to widen the spectrum of my knowledge. I look forward to an
existing and challenging career.

EXPERIENCE
➢ Worked as a Senior Research scholar at Indian Institute of Technology Mandi from August
2016 to June 2022. In this period, I was associated with the following activities: Setting up
of first material testing laboratory in School of Engineering, development of hydraulic
diffusivity and sorptivity models based on efficient phenomenological considerations for
better durability performance, creating numerical FDM model in C++ language,
Experimental designs based on efficient strategies (Taguchi Method), analysis and
interpretation of experimental data and answering the long lasting conflicting observations,
development of algorithm for improving two-parameter hydraulic diffusivity models. Also
involved in teaching assistance work for subjects related to Structural Engineering.

➢ Worked as an Assistant Professor at Guru Nanak University Hyderabad from June 2012 to
October 2013. In this period, I was involved in teaching of the following subjects: Strength
of materials, Water resources engineering and Concrete Technology lab to undergraduate
students. Also served as a Coordinator in examination Center.

Total Academic Experience: 7 Yrs

TECHNICAL SKILLS
• Software Applications: STAAD Pro, C++, MATLAB, MS Office, Minitab and OriginLab.
• RESEARCH INTERESTS
• Numerical and analytical modelling of moisture transport in porous building materials,
Durability analysis based on freeze-thaw cycles, Statistical techniques for experimentation,
Characterization of building materials including stone, brick, mortar and concrete, Optimum
design and sustainable concrete production.

ACHIEVEMENTS
• Received Best Teaching Assistantship award 2018 in Indian Institute of technology Mandi.

• Published a paper with title “Statistical quantification of the effect of temperature on capillary
water absorption in some porous building materials" in Building and Environment, 198(July),
107889. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.buildenv.2021.107889. Chief Editor of Building and
Environment Journal gave comments such as, this paper would be the final answer to all long-
lasting conflicting observations of effect of temperature on capillary water absorption in porous
building materials.
• Received Best student and class topper award in Diploma in Civil Engineering.
