❖ Ask Ss:
- What wrong things did Miguel do at the beginning of the
movie? Have you done something that your family did not want
you to do?
- What good things did Miguel do throughout the movie? 10-15
DISCUSSION
- What do you know about our family history? Are there mins
things you would like to know more about? (optional questions)
- What lessons do you get from the movie? (elicit the answer
Treasure our family members not only when they're here with us,
but when they pass as well)
- Have Ss work in group of 4 to practice dubbing an extract
from the movie
- Each S will play the part of a character (Miguel. Miguel’s
DUBBING 15-20
grandma, Grandma Coco and Miguel’s parents) Video_Dubbing Activity

- Play the video and turn off the sound, have each group take
turns to dub the movie
- Have the class vote for the best dubbing version
