AREA OF WORKING (W.R.T.

CONCERNED DEPARTMENT):

Human Resource department serves as the backbone of any organization. It is responsible to


manage employee’s relation, rights, hiring, firing, inquiry , compensation and benefits etc.

In SSGC, HR Department divided into four sections namely Operations, Internal Relation,
Inquiry and Recruitment.

My area of working are Biometric and IR.

BIOMETRIC:

In biometric, we use biostar 2 software, biostar 2 is a software of Suprema company. Suprema is


a South Korean company. Suprema is a leading global provider of access control, time & attendance
and biometrics solutions.By combining world renowned biometric algorithms with superior engineering,
Suprema has introduced innovations to the security industry over the last decades. Suprema’s extensive
range of portfolio includes biometric access control systems, time & attendance solutions, fingerprint
live scanners, mobile authentication solutions and embedded fingerprint modules.

BioStar 2 is a web-based, open, and integrated security platform that provides comprehensive


functionality for access control, time & attendance management, visitor management, and video log
maintenance. It encrypts all personal data available and supports both SDKs and web APIs to integrate
BioStar 2 with third-party software. In addition, users can control BioStar 2 platform remotely with the
mobile app for BioStar 2 and manage a mobile access card that you can use to access sites.

NEDO ATTENDANCE:

Nedo Attendance offer quality assurance on all Time Attendance Machine. It is use to monitor
employees attendance. They also offer software with our equipment so you are able to use our products
to their fullest potentials.

This section is important because it deals with the relations of Labor Unions, other unions. Labor Union
in SSGC is named as “People’s Labor Union” (PLA). The PLA negotiates with the head of this department
over Charter of Demands, on agreed terms so that matters regarding union members should be settled.
Most of the negotiations held are for giving union employees with some benefits and perks, depending
on their performance.
