Implementation Steps and Key Decision Points
Feature Key Decision Steps
• Both the ledger and natural account segment values that are subjected to
reconciliation, must be enabled for clearing accounts reconciliation.
• Run the Inherit Segment value Attributes process to subsequently update

• Enable Clearing Accounts Reconciliation for your ledger on Specify Ledger Options page
• Task name: Specify Ledger Options
• Navigation: Setup and Maintenance >Financials >Define Common Applications Configuration for
Financials>Define Ledgers>Define Accounting Configurations>Specify Ledger Options> Select the
ledger in the scope-> Enable clearing accounts reconciliation (check box) under Reconciliation.
• Enable Reconciliation for the reconcilable natural account segment values.
• Task name: Manage Values
• Navigation: Setup and Maintenance > Search for Manage Chart of Accounts Value Set Values task>
Manage values-> Select the specific natural account segment value and set the Reconcile = Yes
