The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People

puts forward a principle-centered

approach to both personal and interpersonal effectiveness. It aims to adapt
our inner core, character, and motives.

This book will help us move from a state of dependence to independence,

and finally to interdependence. Interdependence is a more mature,
advanced concept. It precludes the knowledge that we are an independent
being, but that working with others will produce greater results than working
on our own. To attain this level of interdependence, we must cultivate each
of the seven habits laid out in the book. The seven habits are as follows:

1. Be proactive
2. Begin with the end in mind
3. Put first things first
4. Think win/win
5. Seek to understand first, before making yourself understood
6. Learn to synergize
7. Sharpen the saw

Book by Stephen Covey

This book tells the secrets, the steps to not just to get success in this competitive world, but it
provides beautiful, very realistic and great ideas to win our own self. It focuses on your basics
paradigms .It will make you realise that by the quick fix strategy of learning good communication,
having attractive external appearance, learning so many ways to impress others cannot work out
in long term. To make your life happy and to make your relationships work, you have to work on
your character. You have to find a mission statement for your life.
The first three habits for self-development are so much inspiring and realistic that anyone by
doing these can get a better version of themselves.
The next 3 habits are for public victory, and these are also amazing. By understanding the
principles of public victory, we can get clarity of with which person, we should synergize. It tells
that we should only do a deal with a person if it benefits both of you i.e. it inspires us to get in a
win-win deal.
In the last habit it tells us about how we can renew our physical, spiritual, mental and social
dimensions of life.
If you are the one who don't want to read many self-help books and if you are searching for a
single book that can inspire you, motivate you to do better, and a book that can solve many
doubts of you then you should definitely read this book. This is like a masterpiece .
I am very grateful that I read this book
