BARANGAY RESOLUTION NO. 21 – S’ 2019

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PUNONG BARANGAY HON. WILFREDO M. MEMBRILLOS TO ENTER INTO
CONTRACT OF SERVICE ON THE PROGRAMME AND PRODUCTION OF BARANGAY IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM OF
BARANGAY NONGNONG BUTUAN CITY.

WHEREAS, in accordance with the Sangguniang Panlungsod Ordinance No. 5417 series of 2017 “an Ordinance
mandating all Barangays of Butuan City to implement Barangay Identification System;

WHEREAS, Barangay Nongnong is now in the status of the implementing Barangay Identification System to all
barangay residents from 18 years old and above are required to secure a Barangay I.D. Card. However, in case under 18
years of age but not less than 15 years of age, the application shall be voluntary in its nature;

WHEREAS, the validity of Barangay Identification System and the I.D. Card issued by the barangay shall be recognized
and accepted in all offices in the government and private agencies within the jurisdiction of Butuan City. The same shall
be valid for 2 years from the date of issuance;

WHEREAS, Barangay Nongnong is in the status of financial constraints due to lack of funds to purchase the necessary
equipment and materials for the production of the Barangay I.D. Card in consonant to these particular program and
activities;

WHEREAS, Barangay Nongnong allow JD Printshop and JC Computer Trading and Services to facilitate and provide the
program and production of Identification Card and collect 70.00 per individual I.D. Card holder within 90 days from the
start of its operation at Barangay Nongnong, Butuan City;

WHEREAS, upon the completion of the contract beyond the prescribed number of 90 days of operation, JD Printshop
and JC Computer Trading and Services shall turn-over the program and the necessary equipment and materials being
used for the Barangay Identification System and Identification Card production. Barangay Nongnong completely owned
the program, equipment and materials being used for the Barangay Identification System;

NOW THEREFORE, upon motion of SK Chairman Jomarie C. Estorgio jointly seconded by Kagawad Anita Atico,
Kagawad Angelito M. Berdera and Kagawad Carina C. Bolo, be it . . .

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to authorize the Punong Barangay Hon. Wilfredo M. Membrillos to enter into
and sign contract of Service on the Programme and Production of Barangay Barangay Identification System of Barangay
Nongnong, Butuan City.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copy of this resolution be furnish to the Office of the DILG City Director, Public Affairs and
Information Office and all offices concerned for their information and guidance.
