Review:

The Sparkling Cyanide or Memories of Death is a detective fiction book by Agatha

Christie. The story is focused on the death of a woman on her birthday party
named Rosemary Barton who allegedly committed suicide by drinking cyanide.
His husband named George Barton don’t believe she committed suicide. He
started to suspect the two men that invited to her birthday party even her own
sister and her secretary was suspected too. One year later in his quest to find the
culprit he set the same party and invited the same guests into Rosemary’s sister
birthday party. But in the middle of the party someone was killed by the same
scenario as his wife. Who done it?

The first time I saw this book, I was intrigued by the title “Sparkling Cyanide”
and I knew right away that the book is about a mystery. The story begins with
each character remembering about Rosemary and in the night she dead. In this
part the author also gives us the background of each character and the interest
of her death. I really like the plot of this book, The author provided us a picture
about Rosemary from the character’s perspective but still with the third person
point of view.

I enjoyed read this book it’s puzzling and entertaining, all in all, I would rate this
book 5 out 5. For those who like a story with genre mystery and have a doubt or
like trying to guess the ending, I would recommend you to read this book. As we
know, Agatha always gives us riddle in almost her works, and she also done it in
this book.
