How to Pumping Bulk

 Open compressor valve for wheel house

 Open valve comp deck in engine room ( main compressor )
 Open control valve engine room and bridge
 Open Valve for purging
 Connected hose discharge from ship to rig and open discharging valve
 Start compressor and open valve pressure 50 PSI
 Blow true ( cleaning the line ) open parging valve and checking the line ( please look ventilation hose
air going or not )
 Stand by for filling air
 Close parging valve for filling the tank
 Open air inlet valve control on bridge until 42 psi
 Open parging valve ( look ventilation hose )
 Open discharging valve checking hose moving ( bulk discharge )
 Reduce purging valve control ( looking pressure discharging make same)
 Keep discharging and filling valve open

If tank nearly finish pressure become fast to coming down 15 psi/10 psi and check on rig side ventilation
become straight fast.
In time bulk nearly finish
 Close discharging valve control and open air filling
 Close purging valve
 Open and close filling valve for make bulk going down ( min 2 time )
 Open purging valve until full
 Open discharging valve control for discharging bulk( cement )
 Reduce purging valve ( close and open )
 If ready finish close disc valve control and filling valve control, open purging valve control for cleaning the
line
 Close air filing valve from main comp and disengage compressor and stop
 Close all valve ( purging, air filling for control valve, discharging valve )

Change tank

 Close purging valve

 Open discharging valve tank no I for make air going from the tank
 Open filling valve for tank no II ( pressure 42 psi )
 Procedure same like before

Note:
Before discharging bulk (cement) make sure if valve already open and full open the purging line (blow) and
look air vent in rig side if coming air, line is ready for start discharging.
Discharge time for bulk :
 Bentonite 20 m3 every 30 min
 Cement 20 m3 every 45 min – 1 hour
 Barite 20 m3 every 1 hour
