Cost Engineering (May 2020 to Present):

 Estimate Should-cost and ZBC for Chassis Proprietary and Electrical parts (Pneumatic Values, Switches, Wiring
harness, Battery Cables etc.) for commercial settlement.
 Provide Justification and hold discussion with Purchase team on Should-costing / ZBC with the detailed back-
ups for the Machine Hour rates, Material & Labour rates, Logistics costs, etc.
 Provide comparative analysis of own costing vs supplier’s quote and highlight areas of optimization and cost
avoidance opportunity.
 Prepare new Should cost model and parametric cost model for new parts with in-depth study of manufacturing
processes, MHR, labour rates, incurred tooling cost and commercial norms of vendor..

Supplier Quality (Aug 2015 to April 2020):

 Handled new part development under Chassis Proprietary & Electrical commodity which includes components
of Brakes system, Wiring Harness, Switches, Alternator and Lamps.
 Lead and adhered availability of parts as per project plans and defined milestones, i.e. concept, Alpha, beta &
SOP. Engage in Tier1 and Teir2 vendors to develop and implement a robust development process for a product.
 Worked under APQP framework to ensure Procurement of material considering three important factors
QUALITY, DELIVERY & COST.
 Ensured supplier RFQ submission, resource planning, Design for Manufacturing (DFM), TRSO closure, IQA-
vehicle level try-outs and PPAP adherence for new product development operations.
 Executed vendor evaluation, vendor rating calculation and necessary actions for under performance.

 Knowledge of key Automotive Quality Management System (FMEA, PPAP, MSA, SPC, APQP).
