COMPANY HISTORY

INTRODUCTION

In the following essay we will see the history of pascual from its beginning and all the journey that
had to happen until it became a Mexican company that managed to position itself as well as how
to write a story. Its activities with the "Aguascalientes Project". Eight trucks left to that state to
stock up on product (Boing was still produced there!) and returned to Mexico City with the
objective of reopening its doors and conquering the market. Organized, they went out to sell their
products and began to write the successful history of a 100% Mexican Cooperative.

Cooperative Pascual produces and markets natural, healthy and nutritious drinks in the range of
juices, nectars, fruit pulp, purified water and soft drinks, with the commitment to delight and
satisfy consumers of all ages.

HISTORY

In an Assembly prior to a hearing, they agreed to annex one more alternative for the solution of
their conflict: that the goods of Refrescos Pascual S.A. be awarded in favor of the workers who

committed themselves to work under the Cooperative system. In March 1982 the government
decreed a 10, 20 and 30% wage increase.

Most of the companies complied with this presidential provision, but not the owner of Refrescos
Pascual, who refused to grant them the increase. Faced with this refusal, a group of Pascual's
workers went to the offices of the Mexican Workers' Party (PMT).

Because of this, the workers decided to go on strike, stopping the two plants on May 18, 1982. In
response to this action, on May 31, the owner showed up at the Planta Sur facility giving orders
to his people to shoot to break the strike, killing two workers and injuring 17 others. C. Demetrio
Vallejo, leader of the PMT, planned the actions to follow, guided the advisors and the Committee
of Struggle. There were key moments during the strike movement: the seizure of the offices of
the seventh floor of the Federal Board of Conciliation and Arbitration; the obtaining of title to the
Collective Labor Contract, taking away from the Confederation of Workers of Mexico (CTM) the
legal recognition of the strike of May 24, 1983 and, finally, the victory of the strike movement.

The company already had great recognition within the soft drink industry. It acquired facilities in
the interior of the Republic, as well as in the United States and Japan. It was at this time that the
fruit drink Boing! was launched, which, unlike Pascual and Lulu, does not contain gas.

At this time, Rafael Jiménez got in touch with the Swedish company Tetra Pak, achieving the
exclusivity for the packaging of Boing!

At the end of this same decade, the North Plant was acquired, whose facilities belonged to the
soft drink company Canada Dry, as well as the franchise for the elaboration and
commercialization of its products. Both Tetra Pak's packaging exclusivity and Canada Dry's
franchise were lost in 1982, when the strike movement began.

CONCLUSION

As you could see writing the history of a company must have an exciting essence that tries to
connect with the readers so that they identify and can achieve affection for the company, but if it
is a company in their own country as we saw in the previous example.
